We did it!!! We finished up our 6 week program today! It was such a great feeling to put my Conquer sticker on my step closing out the final phase of these workouts. 6 weeks, 6 days a week... I didn’t miss 1 workout. I pushed through on the hard days... I enjoyed it and hated it at times. But it’s an amazing workout. You have 20 minutes you can dedicate to you! You’ll be better for it. FULL BODY AT HOME WORKOUT!!💪🏼 Excercises: 1. Mountain climbers (40 seconds) 2. Plank walk ups (x30) 3. Leg raises (40 seconds) 4. Banded fire hydrants (12 each leg) (Do this 3 times!) ⬆️ ⭐️The past couple days I have been sick and unfortunately haven’t been able to make it to the gym. Today, I felt good enough to do an at home workout and it felt really good, but I was also very exhausted after it, which made me realize I made a good decision by not going to the gym yesterday or today. It’s important to listen to your body and give it time to heal. Hopefully I’ll be back at the gym on Monday! 😉 I hope this gives you some motivation to try this at home! I lost some inches after my first program, but gained some of them back around the holidays, and while I wasn't following a specific fitness program from start to finish. I slacked a bit before this program started. Nutrition is what I really need to improve, and I definitely haven't nailed the nutrition during this 6 week period as well as I would have liked. So much of our success is based on what we put in our body. I will keep working on it! I'm not officially done with the program yet, because I re-did a week that was messed up, but it has been 6 weeks so I wanted to share these. The top picks are from when I started my first full program in October. The bottom are today. It's not a crazy difference, but it is proof that the scale is misleading. There are 11.75 fewer inches in the bottom pics, and 3.25 inches just in my waist, but only 2 lbs. 2lbs?!! I could gain 2 lbs in a few hours in water weight lol. Back to the grind! I have learned soo about myself not just physically but mentally. I found myself and I am excited to say I am going to be doing a second round. 😁 Just know that you are strong than you know! Found in alot od So called Healthy alternatives ,Preworkouts and supplements ,chips ,candies ,etc Orders from ZTT,Stay away from fake sugars that your body can't even use for energy because it can't break it down like other fake sugars like xylitol .
I haven’t stopped all day today and for the first time, possibly ever, I’ve walked a whopping 20,000 steps in one day. Also it’s food shopping day today which is my favourite day of the week!!! Steak night it is then 😋💦

Pic on the right is me today. I started this challenge already working out 6 to 7 days a week. That pic was AFTER I was already going to the gym and lifting regularly. The thing that made the difference between my old self and the new one - following a kick ass workout program written for me by the one and only, @melaniemedlock, and nutrition. This entire challenge, I have meal prepped. I have weighed my food, I have measured and counted almost everything. Sure I did have pasta one night for dinner, but I ate consistently 98% of the time. I’ve also been committed to getting up at 4am to get to the gym by 445AM to get my hour and a half workout in BEFORE I put in a 9 hour work day. I can’t believe the difference I see in myself. The best part is hearing it from other people, when they notice the difference. Was it easy? No. Was it worth it? FUCK YES IT WAS! And I plan to keep it up. This is something I’ve always struggled with, but I’ve started to become better with over the years. Living with an illness I’ll never be healed from and so much more was happening. A lot of people assume because you’re the strong friend/family member that you aren’t battling life issues as well and I was. I decided to take my life back after one long night of crying and eating myself to sleep. Depression is real and just because someone doesn’t talk about it doesn’t mean it’s not happening. I thank them all because I’m back better than ever and not just to look and feel good on the outside, but also on the inside! This week whenever I've been hit with chocolate cravings I've made myself a cup of golden milk. This creamy, comforting drink is made of ingredients that have been shown to promote a good night’s sleep. Honey: Allows tryptophan (a protein that produces serotonin, which promotes feelings of calm, relaxation, and sleepiness) to enter the brain more easily. Ginger: Calms the stomach and promotes relaxation. Some studies suggest ginger can help reduce anxiety. Turmeric: Aids digestion and has calming properties, which lead to sounder sleep. If you have aches and pains, golden milk for joints is a popular remedy, as it is anti-inflammatory too. Cinnamon: Similar to turmeric and ginger, cinnamon also helps with digestion (and it’s a delicious pairing with the other ingredients). Almonds: Rich in magnesium, which promotes both sleeping and muscle relaxation. Either use almond milk or you could add some almond butter to the recipe. Blend all ingredients in a high-speed blender until smooth. Pour into a small saucepan and heat for 3-5 minutes over medium heat until hot, but not boiling. Drink immediately 😋
