You may think I’m crazy for working out while I’m camping, and I’m ok with that. . I’ve made a promise to myself that I’m not going to break.  I have big goals. . Too many times I’ve started something, a workout routine, a lifestyle change.....then when something got in the way....like a camping trip, birthday party or event....I would stop. . Here’s the thing. Momentum creates momentum.  Right now I have insane momentum.  Momentum that I refuse to break, even for a camping trip. . People ask me how I’ve gotten the results I have, and this is my answer....CONSISTENCY. I show up every day, NO MATTER WHAT. But consistency is what stops most people from achieving their goals.  They get caught in the start/stop cycle and then get frustrated when they don’t get the results they’re looking for, and they give up. It’s easy to get excited about an idea, but it requires work to follow through. . I am no longer a slave to the start/stop cycle of self care and self love. I no longer break promises to myself. . To those who have reached out, sent messages or commented on my posts, i sincerely thank you! The past two weeks i have heard from so many and how my content has motivated you to be more active, to push harder during a workout or to make one of the recipes I've posted recently. It fills my heart with so much joy knowing that as I dive deeper into my fitness and nutritional coaching, i have the honor of helping others achieve their personal & even financial goals.  As a parent, there will always be dishes, laundry, meals to prep, sports games and taking care of my world, my family. As a mom, i have learned that if i don't take time for myself and make my personal goals a priority then there will be no change or personal growth. I saw a quote today that really spoke to me.  Basically it said that we can’t control getting older BUT we can control how we do it.  This is reality.  Life keeps moving forward no matter how much you want it to slow down, but I’m not going to just stand still and let it go by without a little fight😉. I want to have more energy when I get up in the morning 🌞. I want to enjoy a more active life doing the things I enjoy.🧘‍♀️🏂 I want to be able to leave the doctor’s office with an overall good bill of health:) I want to be able to fit into some old clothes and maybe buy some new ones:) I WANT to enjoy living a longer, healthier life with my loved ones as long as I possibly can. Before I started working out at home, I had the misconception that I wouldn’t be able to motivate myself unless I went to the gym.... 💁🏼‍♀️ . I honestly feared that I wouldn’t be able to get my ass 🍑🙈 off the couch to press play on my workouts, but the bigger issue was.... going to the gym was EXTREMELY INCONVENIENT for me! 1. Because I live in the middle of no where....So it would take about 40 mins to get to any gym! 2. Gyms are expensive, stinky and crowded! And 3. I felt extremely intimated by the people and machinery, so never really got a good workout in even when I did go! 🤦🏼‍♀️ . So when I found a virtual fitness community that I could become a part of, have all the tools I needed to crush my goals from the comfort of my own HOME, PLUS have crazy amounts of ACCOUNTABILITY from my virtual fit fam...👫👫 BOOM! 💥 Suddenly..... I was getting my ass up off the couch everyday and forming healthy habits that have lasted me for the past 3.5 years! 💪🏼🎉 I am now in the best shape of my life and I owe it all to my amazing fit fam for holding me to my goals, being their to support me and providing me with all the tools I needed to crush it... So I haven’t shared any vulnerable before and after photos of myself YET. BUT... Beachbody is launching it’s newest program on July 29th, and it has me wanting to share the awesomeness of their fitness and nutrition programs that I’ve used for 2 years now! When I see someone’s transformation, it fuels me and makes me want to push harder and continue on. So I decided to share my results in the hopes that it would inspire some of you to start or to keep going! Being a part of a fitness challenge group has changed my life! I started two years ago (left photo) as a customer, in a challenge group, committing to do the 21 Day Fix. Prior to this, I was on again off again with my fitness and nutrition, and I was the heaviest I’d been in my life. I felt just plain yucky. I was tired all the time, had little self confidence, and worst of all I felt like I was getting weaker. So I dove in! I fumbled around with the portion fix containers and slowly learned how to use them. My knees hurt with every workout, I was out of breath in 5 seconds, and I felt so out of shape. Who was this person? How did I let this happen? But I pushed through, because I knew it would get easier, and it did! I’m not a scale person because I believe in building muscle and getting stronger while not obsessing about the scale. But today, I’m about 15 pounds lighter, and I’ve lost 6 inches off of my waist alone. More importantly, My knees don’t hurt, I can workout without completely losing my breath, I can stand up quickly without blacking out. I can jump on the trampoline and run with my kids... And I feel stronger than ever at age 42. But I’m not done.. there will be no day that I’m done! Fitness has become a major part of my life, and I can’t image not making time for myself to workout and maintain my strength. I became a coach to guide people along this same journey. Today’s Leg workout was in the form of HIIT and it was killer. 🔥 Here is what we did: 60 sec. soccer run 45 sec. Tripple bear 30 sec. pulse sumo squat 15 sec. Jump lunge Repeat 3x Then repeat all 4 exercises for 30 sec. each with no rest in between. X2 Finish with 2 core exercises for 30 sec. each and repeat 3x. __ *I do not have the rights to the music.*

Tabata is a hiit routine that consists of 8 sets of fast-paced exercises each performed for 20 seconds with a short rest of 10 seconds, followed by a 1 minute recovery upon finishing the 8 sets.⠀ Weight up/down depending on your level. Here in Los Angeles, we like to stay fit! We recently completed a couple of projects for clients who are total gym rats and have fully decked out their home gyms – making them the centerpieces of the homes. While they already had ample equipment lying around, the equipment and the spaces weren’t being utilized to their fullest potential.
