PLEASE READ 👆 Firstly I'm super pumped today is finally the day. Lol. I've been waiting weeks but today I weighed in at 61.9kg- 2019. This first shot was taken in 2013. 6 year transfo. • Although the angles are a little diff you can definitely see the change in muscle mass. I wanted to explain to everybody that transformations take time. It's a long term investment you need to commit to. Remember muscle takes time to build it doesn't happen overnight- this change was done for me via weight training- absolute strength, muscle hypertrophy and muscular endurance all of whoch were cycled. Stick to it consistently and your body shape will too change. • But be smart. Don't fall for quick body transformation gimmicks.

A little blip about my experience with cravings, acne, and diet soda 🥤 I love diet soda. In my health journey, I am finally getting to the point where I don’t drink soda anymore. I had a good conversation with a friend about skin care and we got on the topic of diet soda. In the past, I knew if I took a break from drinking soda, my skin would look and feel much better in just a few days. It’s been way more effective than with slathering on creams and spot treatments (at least this has been my experience). So why the heck would I keep drinking it when I know it has such horrible effects on my skin and feel sick and bloated afterwards? Because diet sodas are addicting. I have never been much in the way of moderation. I know people who can keep a pack of soda in the fridge for weeks, but for me, I will drink it in a day or two 🤷🏼♀️ if I have a chocolate bar, I’m gonna smash the whole thing and not think twice...not break off a chunk or two every now and then like the serving size recommends 😂 so after this conversation and taking a step back to evaluate my own behaviour, I realised I just need to stop buying soda - cold turkey. Over the past several weeks, I’ve experienced a crazy amount of change. Bloating has gone down - even my face looks less puffy! My skin has cleared up. I used to think it was just because of hormones or not being able to shower right away after intense workouts but here we are. I think the biggest surprise for me though is cravings are gone! Since going plant based, I already have shrugged off the intense cravings I used to have. Do you ever want a food so bad, it doesn’t matter if you eat something else - you don’t feel satisfied until you eat that specific thing? This used to be me ALL the time! Especially for high fat foods like pizza. I used to decide what I would eat based on my cravings.
