Nut granola is a staple in our house full of protein,healthy fats, fibre and so many more vitamins and nutrients. It’s all about balance.Today I tried almond yoghurt and to be honest I prefer coconut yoghurt as it’s creamer and has a better texture. Who loves a good breakfast? … I DO !! 💃🏻 … I would even say that breakfast is my favourite meal of the day 🤓 … This being said, I love breakfast time even more when I know that my first meal of the day is made with real foods that will energize and nourish my body!👍🏻 .… I have been eating the same breakfast for a little bit now and I felt like changing it up! With my productive early morning starts I wanted something that was easy to pack up and eat out and about that would be delicious and would keep me full and ready to rumble ;👊🏻 … In the past I would eat a big (like really big) bowl of oatmeal and I truly truly enjoyed this breakfast BUT I noticed how I would get cravings and feel super duper tired in the afternoons! That’s when I switched over to an egg kinda breakfast (which I still adore). All of that to say that I wanted to create a breakfast bowl without all the carbs and thought I would try out Cauliflower Oatmeal! … Guess what ? I love it !!! 👌🏻 🔸 Here is what I did⤵️ ..… ps: This made me 3-4 portions ;) … 🔶To a medium pot add : ▪️Frozen Cauliflower rice (yes the whole bag) ▪️1 cup + 1/2 cup of Cashew milk OR one can of coconut milk OR add one cup of nut milk and add more liquid as you cook until you get preferred consistency! ▪️1-2 tsp:  Cinnamon spice, nutmeg spice ▪️2 tsp of vanilla extract ▪️1 medium apple shredded ▪️1/2 cup of shredded unsweetened coconut ▪️1/2 cup of hemp seeds ▪️2 tbs of chia seeds (optional) … 🔶Mix it all up! … 🔶Bring everything to a light bowl and simmer for 20-25 minutes mixing everything together every couple of minutes OR cook until the cauliflower is tender enough for your liking! … 🔶Enjoy a hot bowl right away or eat cold later on! … 🔶Optional add ons : Protein powder, nut butter, granola, extra fruit, maca powder… … 🔶I prepped a few containers (mason jars) in the fridge for a go to breakfast OR snack! … Oh

When you're an adult, you don't have to eat at the table! 🙌  But seriously. Probably one of my favorite spots to sit down in our house. Sometimes I even find my hubby sitting here.  This morning, I sat down and ate my nutrient dense pudding like I've done just about every day for the last 3 years. (Sometimes I have an ice cold shake instead!) I used to skip breakfast thinking it wasn't important and I didn't have time. But now I get all the nutrients I need for the day in less than 5 minutes. No longer do I leave the house hungry, or feel tempted to buy the greasy expensive breakfast at the market near my job. My stomach and my wallet are happy! 👌
