My 'lil man! He wanted to match mommy today, so he got to wear his Russell Wilson jersey today. He always puts up with my long walks, so I make a deal with him and let him go to the park after we're done. Walking is a big part of my journey, and it's great that my family agrees to make it a priority...even the little ones. Before I started my weightloss journey, I read that the average american walks 3 miles in a 24 hour period. That's the AVERAGE. I knew that in the beginning I was nowhere near that. Not even close! So, right from the start I made it a goal to try and walk 3 miles a day. That way I wouldn't be below average, and everything after that would put me ABOVE average. At first I could not even walk 1 mile at one time. I would have to split that mile up into 4 separate walks spaced out over the course of the day. I wasn't fast at all, and it hurt pretty bad, but I kept up with it. I pushed through. About a month later I was able to walk 1 mile in 20 minutes without stopping. Eventually I worked my way up to 2 miles, and then 3. Now I'm attempting to work more on jogging. It takes hard work and a willingness to overcome very difficult obstacles, but if you really want it, you can make it happen! Do I walk 3 miles every day? No, not always. Sometimes I hurt too much or I'm too tired, but that is a goal that I strive for. On days like that, I walk 1 to 2 miles depending on how I feel.

I’ve been slacking on my water intake and steps today and have been in a blah mood overall. 😩 There’s still ~4 hours left today though and I’m gunna make the most of them 💪🏻 the kids are in bed too so no excuses. 👏🏻
Definitely coming down with something 🥺 been feeling like crap all day but I had just one more day left on my 4 week program and didn’t want to “let myself down”... Anyways, I couldn’t finish. 🤷🏻♀️ i jogged for 15 min and did steep incline for 5 minutes before I had to give it a rest.
