During those time when schedules are non-stop busy, nerves are frayed, and everyone is grumpy, we've found that the best remedy is family time. Jon's going to be working a LOT for the several weeks and today's weather was literally perfect so we took a needed Disney day to Animal Kingdom. Even though just about everything went wrong at the beginning (the baby carrier was forgotten, T snuck a toy gun which was confiscated, etc), the day still ended up being amazing. J proved again that he is the easiest baby ever. We walked several animal trails, watched a bird show, ran off at the dino dig area, met Pocahontas, watched the amazing river show, and just enjoyed relaxing with each other. Thankful that we've been rejuvenated as a family. Totally counts as a homeschool trip 🤣 #homeschool#homeschoolfieldtrip#animals#gorillas#birds#birdshow#familytime#priorities#selfcare#familyday#familyfirst#raisingkids#floridalife#perfectweather#familyoffive#disney#disneyworld
Six months of pure sweetness with the queen of stuffy noses. Cypress loves kisses, her daddy’s beard, her feet, and rolling all around. She has two bottom teeth and is still sleeping through most nights. Her sisters haven’t eased up on their baby sister obsession either, but can you blame them?
Welcome to the world our little miracle 💕 RHYLEE ROSE CASARSA born 1:23am on 18th January 2019 weighing a tiny 3pound 14oz ( 7 weeks early) our hearts are so full!! SIBLINGS ❤️ . We believe that best we could give to our children was to give them siblings. We have three kids with small age gaps ( 17 months between first two, then 19 months between middle and youngest one), which can be very hard at times ( most of times😂😂😂). It is not easy having three small kids in house which all need a lot attention, but I hope that we are doing good job. All of them love each other and love to be together. It is such a joy seeing them playing together ( for now more like baby trying to disturb two older ones, but we are getting there). There isn't anything more beautiful for me than Aidan and Holly telling each other that they missed each other while in playschool, Aidan coming back from playschool on day his friend has his birthday party and telling his sister he tried to get her balloon too but there weren't any left❤️( we are struggling a bit with Holly to care about others as much as her brother do, but we will get therr ). It melts my heart when baby goes and gives kisses to all of us one by one( he doesn't give kiss to only one person, it has to be everyone one by one ❤️). It's makes me proud seeing them caring for their younger brother, kissing his scratched knees, or baby giving hugs if older ones are upset. It isn't perfect, there are arguments, there is pushing, there is fighting about toys, about who sits in the middle. But overall they are good kids and they love each other and they'll have each other for their whole life. . So if you have one child and can't make that decision to have another cause it'll be hard, you can't manage one, so how could you have more. It'll be hard at first, but it does get easier and it is worth it. . I don't want to upset anyone who is choosing to have one child, I respect it. It's everyone's choice and we do what we feel is best for ourselves and our family ❤️ . #siblings#family#love#siblingslove#siblingsgoals#familyoffive#phoenixpark#dublin#ireland#creatorsie
Trying to eat healthy while cooking for a family can be tricky. You don’t want to feel left out, you don’t want to feel like there are “off-limit” foods, and you certainly don’t want to make multiple things each night. Am I right? . I found keeping the flavor profiles the same but switching out certain ingredients is the key. For example, last night we had Bacon Ravioli with Alfredo Sauce (yum). I made the sauce using mostly vegan ingredients so it fit my plan and swapped out the ravioli for zucchini noodles mixed with ricotta cheese. Flavors are still the same. We all enjoyed it and it fit in my plan perfectly! . It’s little swaps like this that will make a sustainable way of eating for you while still keeping everyone happy! I’m happy to share the recipe if you are interested. 1/4 c was only 66 calories and it only took about 20 minutes. That’s a win in my books 🙌
How cute are these plates that I got for the twins. They have a suction on the bottom that is suppose to keep them from dumping it, however they are bigger than the high chair tray, so 🙄doesn’t actually work. But! They really like them. It also came with a bowl that has suction a spoon and two bibs that have a pocket like thing to catch food, instead of it falling in their lap. Colt is super impressed 🤣 @elvasenses
✨B I G. B R O S. T O Y S✨ When you can destroy his train track and play with his things because it’s mid-morning and Mumma has resorted to TV already...surely I’m not the only one? Bibs @omasoriginalsbibs #threeunderthree#outnumbered#toddlerlife
I wanted to bring this to light because i know I’m not the only one and sometimes it helps if we just own our struggles. I was chatting with a friend last night and fessed up that i was struggling with the comparison game...it can sneak up in so many different forms. I often go back to doubting that I’m enough. Even though i have grown in my faith a lot in the past couple months, it’s so easy for me to get trapped in my brain and create a story that’s not true! Sometimes I just need to say it out loud and stop resisting the struggle. It’s okay to struggle. We are human! I hope you’re able to call out your struggles today, proclaim the truth until you believe it and give yourself some grace, friends.
Первый день рождения 🍰РУС⤵️ Is baby's first birthday important? Is it necessary to celebrate? and invite a photographer? uh, so much thoughts to have before this event)) For me personally this is first and foremost a family holiday, an occasion to get together all those we love but not often see. I decided to share with you, my friends, one very homely, cozy photo session. After all, the youngest kid birthday brought the big family together. Why not a reason to capture this event? to eat a homemade 🥧 pie, and to fool around in the backyard))) I was also treated, and I have say honestly: it was incredibly tasty and very pleasant to be in the circle of these people. At some point I almost forgot what was actually at work 😂 and now I’m sitting and thinking, and can the photographer actually be helped at the celebrations?
Wow! Indescribable feeling. Being able to walk right in and gift this little girl who is battling cancer her wish. . We came together in a mighty way + rallied a cause as a team and I had NO IDEA I’d get the honor to meet one of the recipients. . No sweeter gift! It really is better to give than receive. . What we do matters. It goes far beyond pushing play every day. We are a community of go-givers who serve others and live brave. . I never want to be disconnected from this community, this path, this mission. . Acts 20:35: In everything I did, I showed you that by this kind of hard work we must help the weak, remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said: 'It is more blessed to give than to receive.
10 year challenge. 1-vacations then 2. Vacations now! 3. Selfies then 4. Selfies now 5. Engagement photos then 6. Family photos now! Glad I have these peeps as teammates to do life with. When people say marriage is hard, I kindly disagree (from my experience). Marriage is work at times, but it’s life that’s hard. Most of our hardships have been caused by outward sources and we come together as a team to go into battle. Im not sure if my life has just been hard- I’ve had a lot of unusually awful things happen, and maybe that makes my marriage seems easy in comparison...or if God gave me a kick ass husband to get through the hardships that He knew I would face. Either way, i feel more blessed now, 10 years later than I did 10 years ago when life was a breeze! #10yearchallenge#familyoffive#myexperience
Start inward, move outward. Today’s workout was “powerful” and my trainer kept talking about how our power comes from within which I’m not disputing but for me that inner power comes not from myself, but God working in and through me. It’s fitting that I was reminded of such an important truth during my morning devotions in regards to where our efforts and focus should be first, inward. We have to do the inner heart work FIRST before we can do the outer work of serving God, our families and others well ❤️ It’s just like in fitness where you have to work all your inner strength before it shows up on the outside. And if you’re anything like me this is a hard thing to do! Nobody wants God to take a hammer to their heart to get all the past hurts, sins and yuck out just like nobody wants to do pushups, sit ups and sweat to death each day during a workout. But if we want our bodies to be strong and healthy we have to do it. If we want our hearts to be strong and healthy we have to do it. And if we want our ministry of serving others to be strong and healthy we have to do it. Start inward, move outward. It’s tough work sisters but I’m right here doing the work and rooting for you to keep first things first too!
Yesterday, my moving meditation was all about embracing what real life is for me, stepping away from the news ticker of my mind that plays a repetitive dialogue of “you should be better” and “make progress, get ahead, look good doing it”. I shared, in its purest form, what my day as a mom of three looked like in my stories... in all its glory! And in the middle of it all, I caught myself finishing my daughter’s applesauce packet from lunch when I felt the familiar rumble in my tummy that reminded me I had yet to eat since breakfast. I was staring out the window, watching the rain begin to build in the afternoon, pondering my next 6 moves to bring my day to its most fulfilling end when I stopped and examined the present moment. I started laughing out loud when I really tapped in to what was happening. I was consuming a toddler snack while covered in infant poop from Pax blowing out of his diaper in his carrier but not willing to change it cause he was finally napping and not fussing in my face. I had started 3 different projects at once in my kitchen and had made quite the mess. My husband was watching car reviews on YouTube while sick on the couch and my toddlers were arguing over Magna Tiles (yet again) on the floor in the living room. This is real life for me, not the fabricated and posed pictures we feel are only appropriate to share. The mess in our lives is where we are gifted the opportunity to truly practice what it is we hope to improve within ourselves. We’ve lost sight of the value of mess, breakdown, and hardship. They are just as much our teachers and guides as those fleeting moments of pure contentment and peace. We, as women, have been offered the Divine opportunity to transform and rebirth in the presence and loving embrace of our children and the chaos they bring to our overly structured and controlled lives. Cheers to another day in your life and mine ✨
Few days after 2019 has kicked in, we already started receiving business inquiries for possible brand partnerships and other projects for 2019. This week, though it's not done yet, has been super duper busy as our biggest event yet is just about to happen this weekend. Today had been extra fun as it's filled with a lot of exciting news. Then we came home to this girl & her artwork. Looking at her drawing, God must be reminding us of what we're doing is all about. We actually got reminded of our goal. And our goal is that by God's grace, our family will continually be a source of inspiration for other families to also fill their homes with so much faith, hope & above all, love. 💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚 #theclingyfam
En toen werd ik gewoon weer wakker haha. Soms droom ik dat ik al bevallen ben en dat lijkt dan zo echt! Dit is mijn tweede zwangerschap, maar ons derde kindje. Our little family is complete 😍 The fact that I never knew I needed sweet Beckham in my life just goes to show how small our dreams are compared to what God has in store for us. Praise Him! And hallelujah that He doesn’t let us dictate our own paths in life!!! 🙌🏽 God is beyond good- now and forevermore. I hope to spend the rest of my days serving Him in the best possible way- raising His warriors 💙
Alright time to be brutally honest. This said it feeds 4 people, we easily fed all five of us even with Danny having seconds on sweet potatoes. That being said when it came to cooking the meal, the recipe card needs to have a bit more explanation because if Sean was cooking this things could have gone easily wrong lol! The ingredients were super fresh and vibrant. The kids loved every bite and this is something we would definitely eat again. #hellofreshpics#hellofresh#foodinabox#familyoffive#dinner#kidapproved Use my code for $40.00 off your first order TMBENNETT
Tried to get one of those cute pics like when people hold their kids up, (you know the ones I’m talking about) but i need to rebuild my arm strength and Zeke’s scalp needs to not photo bomb (lol) All I wanted to say was that this @fableandford romper is really friggin cute and the quality is AMAZING, and I would like one in size grown up thank u xox
We have a love affair with a local island. We have to take a ferry there because there are no roads to it. The girls are always so excited to get out of the car and explore the ferry (for the 15 minute ride). We go outside on the deck, look for sea life through the windows, attempt to help with the community puzzles, and look at all the photographs on the walls. We have so much fun on our island adventure that the girls are usually asleep on the way home, so we make sure the make the most of the boat on the way over. It’s these moments that I love and cherish and want to hold dear. The fact that we get to do it as a family of five blows me away. So so grateful.
We Did it, Day 3!! Three days of momentum here! Hey don’t get all caught up and hung up on your body with out a shirt on. Love the skin you’re in! Fat is essential. Skin a an organ. They both keep you alive and thriving. It’s normal to gain. It’s normal to lose. Don’t focus on how it looks right now if it’s not where you want it. It will change faster when you stop focusing on it so much and focus on your health first.
