I’ve been heading of this coastline every Easter for more than a decade. It’s a tradition that I will always hold onto. Those autumn swells that roll through steely gray still dawns are forever etched into my mind. This year the waves were pretty small but there were a couple of moments of sharing waves with mates and my kids after the sun set in the twilight that I will long remember. Hooting and hollering each other into small little reelers and watching each other as silhouettes by the setting sun is as good as it gets I reckon. Then packing up and the kids riding off up the gravel path on their pushies with no helmets still in their wetsuits salt crusted in their eyes. That’s what life’s all about I reckon. Those little moments when you don’t have your camera or your phone and you’re just out there doing it and being a part of it.
Earth day is everyday. Because everyday is when you can celebrate it by making conscious choices when (not) purchasing something. In the kind of society we live in, we define what we want through our money. What we buy makes a statement and endorses the product we are giving money for. So let’s buy consciously and go zero waste: that’s the most conscious of all choices, and the best celebration of all. @inspire.ecoparticipation #bereadytoclean

Mark's Basilica of Venice ⛪ This exceptionally beautiful cathedral is located in St. Mark's Square and, apart from its religious role, also serves as a treasury full of extremely valuable artifacts from the Ancient World and the Middle Ages🔝They include the altar screen of gold made by Byzantine craftsmen 💛, and the ancient quadriga (a sculptural composition with 4 statues of horses) that used to decorate the Hippodrome of Constantinople 🐎 Most of these beautiful treasures though were obtained in a not so beautiful way - through the crusades and looting of Constantinople 🤷♀️ I also remember that there was an American group behind me in the Basilica, and according to their guide, if
