What do you need to know to choose an egg donor?🤔 . 1. Has she donated before and how many eggs were retrieved? 2. Has she donated too recently? There should be a break of at least 3-4 months. 3. Does she have children or have previous donations resulted in pregnancy? 4. What is her age? In general younger is better. 5. Does she have lots of Siblings? . Finally don’t choose just one donor candidate. You should make a list of your top 5 and then let the clinic run evaluations as to who is fertile at the moment. Women’s fertility fluctuates from month to month, and someone who is the excellent choice today may not be the best choice next month.☝ . #eggdonation#eggdonors#eggdonor#reproduction#eggdonationsunshine#infertilitycommunity#eggdonoragency#eggdonation#givehope#familydreams#sunshine_donation #donation

"It felt more like a fancy spa than a medical facility." Beware of fertility centers that place more value on green juice and image than high-quality medical professionals and cutting-edge fertility technology. IVF, egg donation and related procedures ARE medical procedures, not a spa visit. #ivfminnesota#ivf#eggfreezing#eggdonation#infertility#fertility Source: " I visited the 'Equinox of egg freezing' in NYC, where you can drink green juice and Instagram your fertility experience — and it felt more like a fancy spa than a medical facility", Business Insider
We are proud to announce a new egg donation program, Donor Egg + Plus. This groundbreaking service offering will advance third party reproduction by guaranteeing patients chromosomally normal, or euploid embryos, taking some of the uncertainty out of the fertility journey.

I’m so upset. Have arrived at @listerfertilityclinic this morning for our first counselling session and meeting with the egg donation team which was arranged weeks ago. We’ve been told the counsellor isn’t here so we will have to rearrange. Apparently she booked the day off but no one knew. Lovely to know that someone who should care about their job and patients didn’t even bother to check her diary to make sure that if anyone has mistakenly been booked in with her, she can get it sorted. We have taken the day off to be here. Annual leave is in short supply on a fertility journey - as we all know. And now we will have to take another day off to come in for counselling. I cannot believe that we are sitting here in these circumstances. Infertility is tough enough. Balancing work and infertility and cancer, is tough enough. Emotions run wild. Expectations are raised and dashed without a moments notice. Something as simple as an appointment is enough to raise your hopes and to turn up and have that snatched away is unacceptable. It’s simply not good enough. But what can we do? We are just minions in the money making fertility organisation. #paperwork#important#itscooltohavefeelings 📷 @girlboss
2 weeks in #the6ix 2 weeks in an airbnb 2 weeks of clinic appointments 2 weeks of bloodwork & ultrasounds 2 weeks of fertility hormones 2 weeks of abdominal self-injections 2 weeks well spent #eggdonor#eggdonation#ivf (oh & a glam #mani from @polishdnailbartoronto to help me get through it all 💅🏻)
Lining check can be such an exciting and stressful time for Surrogates and Intended Parents. It is often when they are confirmed for transfer day. . . For some Surrogates a nice thick lining comes easily. For others it can be a struggle. Every body is different and reacts differently to medications and situations. It is always a worry that the lining might not be thick enough and no matter what anyone says there is always the thought that, as Surrogates, we can do more to help thicken the lining. . . There are many things that Surrogates often do to try to thicken their lining, including the following: . . -eating pineapple, especially the core, avocados, yams, other foods that support a thick lining -drinking Pomegranate juice -avoiding substances that may restrict blood flow such as caffeine and alcohol -go for acupuncture treatments -vitamin E supplements . . I don’t think anyone knows for sure if any of these tricks actually make a difference but usually Surrogates will do anything they hear could possibly help. . . The day of lining check can be agonizing for all involved because there is that worry that the lining won’t be thick enough and transfer will be delayed or even cancelled. For those that get the good news that the lining is thick enough the day turns into one of so much excitement. . . No matter the outcome, lining check can take a lot out of everyone. We always send all the fluffy thoughts we can to Surrogates at lining check, hoping for a nice thick lining so that transfer can be confirmed and Intended Parents will be that much closer to becoming parents! . . #4usurrogacycanada#4usurrogacy#4usc#surrogacy#family#canada#international#eggdonation#surrogate#ivf#infertility#1in6#greatestgift#beginswithhope#surrogacyjourney#surrogacycanada#surrogacyislove#surrogacyincanada#internationalsurrogacy#makingmiracles#intendedparentsupport#surrogatesupport#ivfprocess#makeadifference#surrogacyisbeautiful
CAN YOU HELP? 🙏 We have a special couple that has been through a very difficult IVF journey for the past 3 1/2 years. It ended tragically, not being successful with their last viable embryo of their own. They are now looking for a very specific egg donor. In additon to the basic requirements on our website... - They would love to find a donor from some level of Jewish descent with straight dark hair. - Also requesting an educated donor. Does not need to be Ivy League, but looking for drive and intelligence (along with a creative spirit a bonus). - Located in the NY area or CA. Compensation begins at $8,000. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org once you have applied on our website, so she can flag your application for this couple. You may also contact Paula with any questions. Thank you! This will probably bore the hell out of most of you, but some people have been interested. All about raising awareness! Most importantly, I couldn’t have done it without Nathan and my mum. Nath’s has to put up with my sickness, mood swings, cravings, fetching me things when I can’t move, keeping him up at night and injecting me! And my mum who came with me and held my hand when I was scared and in pain. And who also helped me to the loo and pulled up my knickers when I could bend down. Never thought she’d have to do that again! #ivf#eggdonor#eggdonation#ivfawareness
