#jumatbarokah#savetheearth#jagabumi#ecotravel#ecotourism#edukasi#edukasilingkungan#sampah
What’s the point of leaving hometown, when you haven’t let go the attachment. Said by one of the most influential Tibetan Yogi Great Drukpa Kunley, his spritual attainment can be compare with the 84 great Maha Siddhas. Now I have started making the short biography in Tibetan audio book. Coming soon in Tibet Travelers website. My voice is not good, I still pray that May the seed of compassion and wisdom grows in everyone who hear the name of great Drukpa Kunley. www.tibettravelers.com/Jetsun-drukpa-Kunley is coming soon
Yurt so good. All 24 tented rooms @aweipila are identical in size, layout and style. Expect minibar, safe, Bluetooth speaker, outdoor shower and thankfully, air con, or it would be stifling inside. Beachfront rooms 105-109 are best, with waves practically lapping at your door.
The valley below is known as Padruk, where my hometown is situated. This is the best spot to see the view of 5 mountains above 8000M. The mountains includes: Mount Everest, Mount Lhotse, Mount Makalu, Mount Cho Ou Yo and finally little bit below we can see the view of Mount Shishapangma. The reason Tibet Travelers recommend Travelers to stay a night in new Tingri Pelber town is to see the sunrise from this Geu La or also known as Gawu la pass (5200M ) and also to acclimatize with the altitude. www.tibettravelers.com

This photo is from @drasticplastic_ and that awesome guy (girl?) in the photo pretty much sums up how we feel about trash ending up in the ocean. Let’s always remember to pick up after ourselves when we go to the beach and lets try to avoid buying anything that comes in plastic packaging. It’s the little things 😊
Shake it like a Polaroid picture. 5 Fun Facts About Instant Film Photography: 📸 The first production of 60 Polaroid cameras hit the market in 1948 and sold out in one day. 📸 The founder of Polaroid film, Edwin H. Land, was on a walk with his 3-year-old daughter who asked why she couldn’t see the photo he’d just take of her. After thinking about their conversation, he resolved to change the industry. 📸 The Impossible Project is the child of a company that bought all of Polaroid’s machinery to figure out how to make the film when Polaroid shut down their factories years ago. 📸 Each instant film print is like a mini darkroom with a full chemical process. 📸 How did Polaroid get its name? “Polar” (taken from the word polarizer) + “oid” (which means to resemble) = Polaroid. Is it just me or is there something about Polaroid film that makes you nostalgic and brings you right back to the 90s, too? 😉

After spending most of my Central American trip so far on the islands, I am absolutely loving the jungle experience on the mainland 🌿 The air is so fresh and cool, and the area is brimming with wildlife and huge trees. Waterfalls and natural pools of pristine spring water are all around. I love getting to experience the many different parts of this country - and waking up to this incredible view and pure serenity @lascascadaslodge 💦
Throw back to my time at @soidogfoundation in Thailand. I spent a month here back in 2016 whilst on my travels. Such an amazing place, the biggest dog and cat rescue in Asia 💖 I spent my weeks here volunteering and my weekends down in Krabi seeing Timo when we first started seeing each other 😍Also where I got bitten on the bum 😆
It’s day four of #oceanawarenessweek and we’re going to talk about recreation! 🌊 🏄🏼♀️ Fun fact: 75 million Americans visit beaches and swim in the ocean every year! (Being a native Floridian, it feels like that many people visit just during spring break. 😅) And while this is great for the coastal communities economy, it’s not necessarily so great for the oceans or beaches. 🚣🏼♀️ Oceans are great places to swim, surf, kayak, paddle board, fishing, or go out on a boat, or do a number of other fun things. These are great healthy ways to enjoy the ocean, so here’s a few things to remember while having fun: 🐬 Be aware of the marine life around you. It’s amazing to see ocean animals in their natural habitat, just make sure that you’re not harming them while you observe them. Make sure to not fly by on a speedboat in an area that manatees frequent (they are often hurt by boat propellers by careless boaters), or to smack an animal with your paddle while boarding or kayaking! 🛶 Never throw anything overboard while on the ocean. This includes trash and other manmade items such as life jackets or fishing line/nets (which are incredible harmful to marine animals since they often get caught and can drown!). 🛳 While going on a cruise may be fun, they can also be very damaging to the ocean. Make sure to do some research into the cruise line: do they have a recycling program in place; is there an environmental officer on board; do they use any green energy sources? These are just a few things to think about when selecting a cruise line, but keep in mind that not every ship in their fleet will be green! In order to keep enjoying these fun (and sometimes healthy!) activities, we have to ensure that the ocean stays healthy! • • • • • • • • #oceanawareness#oceanconservation#oceanpollutionawareness#ocean#reduceplasticwaste#reducereuserecycle

From left to right: -dentabs -bamboo toothbrush -dentalace floss -homemade deodorant and suncream . Unpacking from my trip to London I realise how far I’ve come with regards to toiletries. I used to be a two bags kinda gal but since giving up makeup, soap, shampoo and conditioner I’ve cut down to just these essentials. . My zero waste journey has taught me a lot so far but I didn’t expect how liberating this kind of minimalism would be. Eliminating choice from my personal maintenance routine is intensely freeing. . Plus think how much space I’ll save in my van when this is all I need in the way of toiletries!
