HAPPY HUMP DAY 🤩!! As you all know, I LOVE fresh flowers and I finally got my hands on my first bunch of peonies this spring. They’re almost all open now and they look BEAUTIFUL! To put the cherry on top of the cake 🍒 I was gifted this beautiful octagon glass vase by @riverisland @riverislandpr ! How PERFECT does it look with the light reflecting through the different tones in the glass 🌸🌟 - I’m in LOVE!
Thanks to everyone who commented on yesterday’s post. Some really interesting connections there . Today is super busy. First a bit of Houzzwork (see what I did there). Then off to London for @decorcafenet Summer party 🎉 . Did you know I’m a qualified Houzz marketer? Yep I’ve got a certificate and everything. #myhousethismonth Day 26 - Table - Morning everyone! Sorry for being so quiet over the last week; work is a killer at the moment. From phonics screening checks to reports to in house tests and moderations, it’s been a nightmare and my little brain can’t wait for a break! - Anyhooo, here is our side table in our living room. We originally bought it as a temporary fix for the room when we moved in, but it fits so well with the colour scheme that it may stay a little longer than originally planned! - Side note - please all bask in wonder at my new @abigailahern snake vase from the @debenhams sale! There are some great deals on their website at the moment so get shopping for a designer barg like this one!
Morning! Well yesterday’s pic completely flopped 😂 but I like flatlays so I’m not gonna stop posting them 🙌🏻 Just popping on to enter the @anglianhome Styled by Me competition! I thought I’d go with my bedroom as apparently lilac is making a comeback 😉 I like it with emerald too @sophierobinsoninteriors 🙌🏻 Hope you all have a lovely day! 💗
We had these frames from our previous home and didn’t know where to put them when we moved. Now, seven years later, we found them and put them in this weird corner of our kitchen. . It is amazing how they changed the wall!
Is that glimpse of sunshine we had today? Short lived but felt amazing while it lasted. Who’s looking forward to this heatwave?! 🙋♀️ I actually got to take some photos with light...it’s the little things...
A couple months ago I went a bit crackers with the wallpaper stripping. I took down every scrap that I put up back when we moved in (8 months preggo up a ladder like a loon). I did this in a kind of blur, not thinking that actually we aren’t anywhere near ready to sort out this bedroom yet (you’ll be surprised to hear I have ambitious plans). So we are living in a room that bears a striking resemblance to the squat I stayed in in London in the 90s, excepting the hole in the floorboards from krusties pulling them up to burn them. The insta reality of this shit is that there is a bed frame and a refurbished mid century dressing table buried under piles of bedding and sweaters and winter coats right in front of the poor bed. We are climbing over stuff to get dressed and tripping over lamps and every bit of it is not just visible from the bed but inescapable. Restful it isn’t, but it’s completely my own making so do not under any circumstances tell the boy I was kinda sorta giving out about it because god help us all if I have to hear him say “told ya so!” What about you, do you start demolition before there’s any hint of renovation on the horizon? Help me out here insta peeps, my defense is looking tenuous. #irishinteriors#houseandhome#myeclecticshack#eclecticallycool#eclecticallymade#scrollstoppinghome#mydarkhome#diyhomedecor#howivintage#upcycledfurniture#diyupholstery#52shadesofgray#thriftyview
