Meatball Pizza!  I was so hungry last night and I was craving meatballs and pizza so I decided to combine the two!  I used @ibreatheimhungry meatball recipe (I used 1 lb beef and 1/2 lb sausage and made them into mini meatball size for pizza purposes) and they are delicious! So excited we have these for meals this week!  Also — @keto.copy fat head dough is so PERFECT I don’t think I could go on enough about it but I’ll try not to rant! Weighing the ingredients made such a difference in how it turned out, I am hooked for life now. Thank you Emily!  Meatballs, Ricotta, sautéed peppers and onions, @raoshomemade tomato basil sauce, & pepperoni were the toppings for this!  My Italian man was beyond pleased with this one! Idk about you but once it hits 4 or 5 o’clock I neeeed a snack. Last week I made these granola energy bites and I’ve still been munching on them 😍 the ingredients are 1/2 cup of almond butter, 1 ripe banana, and 2 cups of @oatmygoodness sunrise coffee granola. I blended the liquid ingredients first and then pulsed the granola to keep those crunchy bits 👌🏼happy Tuesday!

Easy Homemade Yellow Rice  Basically you are going to cook the rice in a skillet adding broth or water as it cooks in (like risotto but less fussy-I just pour on the liquid straight from the box or tap). Then add seasonings halfway through and  finish to taste at the end. No measuring involved.  Steps: 1.) Drizzle some olive oil in a skillet. Add rice-about 1.5 cups or half the bag. (I used Jasmine but anything will work). Stir around for a minute. Add a quart of vegetable broth and stir. Leave the lid off. 2.) Go about your business. When you see the liquid has all beem absorbed, add another cup or sp of water along with spices: -turmeric -saffron -oregano -garlic powder -onion powder -paprika -salt -pepper 3.) Let liquid absorb then test. If crunchy still, add more water until soft. Turn off stove. Put lid on to keep warm.  I served with black beans, venison roast with cilantro sauce, pineapple avocado salad, and kale. It’s so nice to see all my working out paying off. I’ve lost and kept off (for the most part) 9 pounds, but haven’t lost any more. What I do see is my body tightening, being more toned, lifting more weight, and longer and easier endurance. First time I have ever realized why people celebrate the non scale victories! I have also decided to not go hard on keto, or any diet for that matter, but to just overall eat better, no binging, less alcohol, less sugar, less bread, more fruits and veggies, etc. I don’t want to have the kind of body or mindset that freaks out when I decide to eat ice cream or something I want to eat because I just freakin like it. I am hoping to have visible abs by summer time, which I can already see will happen if I just keep doing what I’m doing!  I have always been “thin” and what is heavy for me might not be to anyone else, but what I have never been is in shape. After moving away from Reno, I have never been more depressed, the culmination of what’s happened over the last 2.5 years and relocation to a place that you are a fish out of water in can really to a number to a person’s mental state and it did. I am in a place mentally where I am finally doing better and making big moves in business too. I have ALWAYS been perseverant, but I feel like after all the years of busting my ass is finally beginning to pay off. It would be reeeaaal tough to get up and get yourself there on the days you're not feeling it, right? . The same goes for your weight loss journey! . If your ONLY reason for wanting to lose weight is to get a six pack, that might not be a good enough reason to get up early and workout, stay consistent with tracking your macros, or make a healthier choice when you're out at dinner... . 🔑 The key is to figure out a strong WHY that will keep you committed, even when you're not feeling motivated. Cuz motivation is fleeting, right? . Nobody is motivated all day, every day...it's unrealistic! . The people who succeed, have commitment to fall back on when the motivation isn't there. They have that strong WHY to keep them going... . So what's yours?? . To have more energy to play with your kids? To be healthier and stronger for your yourself and your family? For dinner last night I had some healthy fish tacos with some red cabbage slaw! The fish was seasoned with smoked paprika, chili, salt and pepper. Grilled and served in a whole wheat, sugar free wrap with red cabbage slaw. The slaw was made with red and green cabbage, lime juice, coriander and a little bit of honey. I mean show or no show... The show for my own personal progress must go on! I've always, always said "slow and steady wins the race" I'd rather get slow and steady gains and keep them than get gains quickly and lose them. I said I wanted to give it one last good try since my last two attempts at doing a show were disrupted do to personal problems the first try then injury the second try. Mornings are always a little rough for me.  I've been a night owl my whole life, and I don't see that changing any time soon. I'll do anything I can do to make my AM routine shorter and easier.  I used to reach for a Clif bar or breakfast sammie as a quick an easy way to get a bite on the go. Neither are real great for you, though. A Clif bar is basically glorified candy. And a lot of breakfast sandwiches contain gross preservatives and flavor additives. Both are wrapped in plastic that can't be recycled.  My solution? Coat the inside of a cup with some EVOO. Crack two cage-free eggs into the cup. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Cook for 1 minute in the microwave (longer for less runny). Top with some freshly-cut scallions (I find using a pair of scissors to be a quick method with the least cleanup) and your favorite hot sauce. Whole process takes maybe 2 minutes and doesn't leave me hungry by 10 AM. 🍳  Also works for scrambled eggs! Add cheese, veggies, and meat for an easy omelet. Every Spring I do a Little “shedding” if you will.  Most years I just do An Ayurvedic cleanse, but I’m feeling like switching it up this year. So after I completed that I decided to go with #21dayfix to get rid of some unwanted things- mentally and physically- I carried over from Winter, and pick up some healthier habits like daily exercise and portion control (wait, what’s that? Yesterday’s meat free Monday budda bowl filled with my homemade @creativenature hemp falafel, kidney beans, butternut squash, broccoli, beetroot, avocado & hummus on a bed of quinoa & edamame then sprinkled with more @creativenature hemp seeds! 🌱🥑 So tasty, so filling and filled with all the carbs, proteins & fats for the perfect meal! -  The falafel were so easy to make too! For 20 falafel balls I put - - 1 can chickpeas, 2 tbsp @creativenature hemp seeds, 1 garlic clove, 1/2 red onion with some parsley & coriander in the @thenutribullet until there all broken up! - - I then mixed that all into a bowl with, 2 tbsp of buckwheat flour, 1/2 tsp baking powder, 1/2 tsp cumin, sea salt, black pepper & some water along with a tbsp olive oil - - Once all combined together I rolled 20 balls in my hands & placed onto a baking try in the oven for 15 minutes until they’d browned up! -  I’ve loved the @creativenature products for a while now, they have such great things, but now I’ve partnered up with them you can use my code for 10% off georgiah10! - (Gifted/AD)

Happy Saturday friends 🤗 It’s a GORGEOUS spring day here in MN and I’m loving it so much 😍 I just want to spend the entire day outside ☀️ Now, I know we’re officially in Spring, but that doesn’t mean I don’t enjoy a warm beverage once and while! Lately, I’ve been loving making a vegan hot chocolate after dinner for a little something sweet 😋 Here’s the recipe: 1 1/4 cup almond milk 1 tbs raw cacao powder Stevia or maple syrup to taste Warm it up in a milk frother or in a small pot on the stove and voila 🥰 So simple!
