Is this you? … Super fatigued (more than the norm) Acne (random, like WHY is it there?!) Pretty persistent headaches or common migraines GI probs (gas/bloating/belching/loose poops or constipation) Mood swings Weight management (feels like your body is just “holding on”) Water retention and feeling “puffy” Muscle aches/joint pain (when you’re way to young to be feelin’ this!) Sinus problems or a common runny nose . When we eat foods that damage our gut lining, legit little holes are created and food particles and other substances/toxins can leak through. This ragggges our immune cells under the gut lining thinking that the food particle/substance is a foreign invader so it reacts and it hurts! Plus we get super inflammed and causes all these symptoms and more depending on the person because those particles can travel anywhere in the body and cause harm. . Ok so.. HELP! I know. Start here and become aware of how much you take in these foods and how you feel after. . Gluten Dairy Refined vegetable oils & trans fats Sugar Soy Artificial/process foods Foods cook at high heat Nightshade vegetables . Adopting to a whole-foods based diet can easily avoid these without over thinking it or making it super complicated! Which is why I’m all about keeping it suuuper simple, bringing down this inflammation, easing the everyday symptoms and balance YOUR body ❤️
Organization tip ahead! ⚠️ A great way to help organize your kitchen is to keep like with like! Here are some simple ways to do this: 🥣 Designate areas in your kitchen for similar items: knives, mixing bowls , measuring utensils, baking trays, roasting pans, cutting boards, baking accessories, etc. 🏡 Everything should have a home, and be kept in its home - always return items to where they belong 🥫 Apply this to your pantry, fridge & freezer too, by grouping together similar items, such as breakfast foods, baking goods, canned goods, spices, condiments & ethnic ingredients Shown here is the home of my tea & coffee goods ☕️ Tag an organization lover! ✨

This might look plain but it’s one of my FAVORITE creations lately! Creamy protein nice cream ☺️⤵️ •1 frozen banana •1.5 cups ice •1 cup soy milk •1/4 cup raw cashews •1 tbsp flax seeds •Stevia to taste This is very #thicc so you’ll have to stop blending a few times to stir 💃🏻 This would be bomb anytime, but it's especially refreshing after a workout + has 15 grams of protein 💪🏽😜
I’m back! Literally and figuratively! I took a bit of a IG hiatus the past few weeks and Matt and I just got home from an amazing vacation in Alaska! We hiked, explored, and ate our way through Alaska and to say it was the trip of a lifetime would be a serious under statement! But as beautiful and amazing as Alaska was, I am so glad to be back home and on a regular routine!! Got back on track with my workouts this morning. Shopped and prepped so that I’m ready to go for the rest of the week. And I’ve been drinking alll of the water after 15 hours of travel yesterday. That’s the beauty of throwing out the fad diets and accepting healthy living as a lifestyle. You are able to enjoy life, vacations included (#noguilt)and then just jump right back on track the very next day! What summer get-a-ways are you taking this year?!
Stuffed dates so good I was able to push through my deep aversion to having sticky fingers 🍯 Still gonna use a fork next time tho. These are a great go-to for a quick snack / sweet treat: just stuff ‘em with some nut butter (I used crunchy cashew butter) then top with chocolate chips, coconut, hemp seeds & a drizzle of honey. #hungryblonde#stuffedblonde
With it being #transformationtuesday I thought I’d share a bit of an update. My lifestyle change is a lifelong journey and I’m looking for others to join me. If you want to start your health and fitness journey with me, message me! I’d love the chat💕

🤔 Should you be taking a probiotic supplement? Well, that depends. Let’s first take a look at what probiotics are. We know that probiotics are good for us and that they exist naturally in your gut. Probiotics are microorganisms that reside in our intestine and are a form of good bacteria that help to keep harmful bacteria in check, aid in proper digestion and nutrient absorption, and contribute to immune function. Research has shown that Probiotics are helpful for an array of conditions ranging from asthma and allergies, to skin disorders and vaginal and urinary infections. Their job is to crowd out bad bacteria, preventing the bacteria’s ability to host in the body, which inhibits infection, inflammation and disease Probiotics can also improve digestion. Having proper levels of probiotics in the gut can be effective in combating diarrhea, irritable bowel syndrome and inflammatory bowel disease. They also help the body to absorb nutrients, making sure your body receives the vitamins, minerals, fats and amino acids from the foods that you are consuming. In other words, Probiotics are awesome! But, that still doesn’t answer the question, do you need to be taking probiotic supplements? We really only need to supplement with them if they have been depleted. So how do we know if they have been depleted? Here are some signs to look for: Currently taking / Have taken Anti-biotics? Anti-biotics kill all bacteria in the gut, good and bad Frequent Digestive Disturbances - bloating, diarrhea, gas, inflammatory bowel disease, Crohn’s and H. pylori infection Skin Conditions - eczema, psoriasis, acne, hives Mood Disorders - anxiety, depression, stress, irritability Always getting sick Asthma & Allergies Autism - New research suggests that probiotics may have therapeutic potential in autism spectrum disorder Re-occuring Yeast Infections or Candida Want to take a deeper look under the hood? Vegetarian Teriyaki “chicken” @quornusa I’m not a huge fan of meat replacements (unless it’s veggie bacon hehe) because most of them taste too real but I cooked this “chicken” with teriyaki & it was really good! Added the “chicken” to a saucepan, then a little water, & finally the teriyaki sauce ~ didn’t measure anything ~ Going to be adding this to salads & bowls 👅

"All sorrows are less with bread"- Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra.⠀ Nearly half a century later we still agree wholeheartedly, particularly as we spread salted butter onto a thick slice of warm sourdough, significantly assauging any ill feeling we have towards the weather.
I spent the morning working at a local coffee shop & it was SO nice to get out of my usual routine! One of my goals for the summer is to try and work somewhere outside of my house at least once a week. While I was there I realized my new vitamix gets here tomorrow so bring on all the smoothies! I need to make a grocery store run to get supplies, so what do you like to put in your smoothies?? I need inspiration! 🍉🥭🍓🍍

Meet @alexthomas0320 - Teacher for IgniteYou. He started dancing at the age of 6, when he joined @tr14ers_ . It changed his life completely in a positive way. He went to every Ftiday session and at the age of thirteen he was offered the chance to become a Leader for the Tr14ers, to choreograph/teach and perform; to become a role model to the younger kids that joined there. He began learning and experiencing new styles and realised that he not only wanted to continue learning but wanted to build a career and teach full time. From performing and teaching at tr14ers in various places around the country. He was recognised by a Company @4fsdance where they offered him a place in their competing team, by doing this he has gained knowledge in the competing world as well as growing his confidence to a professional standard. He has completed dance qualifications and is looking forward to expanding his knowledge as well as experience. He wanted to work for IgniteYou as a Hip Hop teacher/dancer as it is another way of teaching that enabled him to be completely Inclusive. Knowing that everyone is enjoying the classes he teaches is the best feeling for Alex, that not only keeps the participants motivated, but also himself. IgniteYou are so lucky to have Alex as part of the teaching team as he brings up to date knowledge and a young enthusiastic energy. Thank you Alex for everything you do
