On to the last 48 hours before I climb Jebel Hafeet. I thought it was 12.5km of hills but thankfully I have @aaalsharafi to adjust the typo to 14km averaging 6% incline all the way through with special areas of over 10% incline. 👌🏻 A little sneak peak of a 15min stretch session before the big day on Friday. Greatful for friends like @pauline_dxb keeping me company throughout the sequence, which I totally made up. Any stretch I felt my body needed, I did. #lovemeachallenge

Quinoa vs. Rice: While rice in any form suits my body and that starch is perfectly alright for my health, I still seem to have a preference for either barnyard millet or quinoa. Why?🤔 Because the latter are more nutrient dense than rice. To me they taste better than rice. 🍛Quinoa provides more fibre, low sugar, more protien than rice😊. Quinoa will keep you satiated, fuller for longer than rice. Thankfully, I am not starch resistant but I do have to watch my insulin levels, which rice at times spikes up. I can either crib about my situation or I can make informed choices, and I choose to eat right. Making these aware choices always helps🤗.
