And then there were…3 (children). We’re having another baby! 🤰🏻Who would’ve thought that this year was going to bring another little life into the mix? 😯 Grateful is an understatement, especially now I feel less like a shell of myself and more into broccoli than cheese sandwiches. 💃🏻 So, I’m starting this year with an open heart and an open mind…Cause there’s a whole mix of knowns (SG events launching ✨/baby #3😴💗/first days at school in Sept 😭) and a whole load of no-ideas (how do you do three kids when you have two arms? 🧐) What is one thing that you know is going to change this year?
in case no one has told you today ❤️ ↟ getting back into lettering after vacay + alllll the laundry! i love traveling - packing, people watching in an airport, flying above the clouds, being among a different culture. + after all that, the feeling of coming home + all of its familiarity. ↟ what is your favorite thing about traveling?
I can’t say I’ve ever done #dryjanuary or #veganuary as personally I’m all for creating a sustainable lifestyle all year round. That’s why I’m super proud to have designed and enjoy this low alcohol (& vegan!) High Sobriety from @hoganscider (stole their pic too, thanks guys!). . More than ever we’re all making a conscious effort to look after our planet. We all try our best to be good humans but sometimes it’s not that simple to sacrifice the things we love and use on a daily basis. I know I’m far from perfect but sometimes convenience, cost or even cravings can take priority. Guilty. Especially when life is as hectic as hell! . I’ve learnt so much from all my clients over the years and am often shocked at how much we’re blinded by what goes on behind the scenes in some industries. It makes it all the more rewarding to only work with the good ones and that’s one ethical decision I 100% live by on a daily basis 🌱

This sweet, funny, joyous show was one of my saving graces in 2018, one of the hardest so far in my young 40ish years. The show never fails to make me smile & it's my go-to comfort TV on a lot of nights when the day has been a blizzard. ⠀ ⠀ Netflix has all the episodes if you want to catch up on the genius of Dan Levy & Catherine O'Hara & the rest of the wonderful writers & cast. ⠀ ⠀ Season five starts up tonight! 😍🤩🎉 This has been a Public Service Announcement.
it probably doesn’t even have to be a bar, i’d be fine if they gave out samples in the wine aisle. i’d go try on clothes in the dressing room and throw my hair in a ponytail and pretend to have an accent to get seconds. or thirds. whatever.
Qualified. ˈkwɒlɪfʌɪd Adjective. “Competent or knowledgeable to do something; capable.” - You are capable. Capable of more than you realise, more than you think, more than you are doing right now, in this very moment. ✌🏼 - So when life feels hard, the walls feel close, the fear feels real and scary and all around. Know this: - You are capable. Qualified for so much more than you give yourself credit for. ⚡️💗

New to the resource library today: a lettering lesson for Fresh Start. . I’m still enjoying the New Year mentality of a fresh start. I always set plenty of goals for myself this time of year so that I really push myself and set myself up for success, but there’s also a lot of grace and empathy that goes into this time of year as well for all the goals that I didn’t meet last year or fell just short of and the ideas or projects that fell by the wayside. A fresh start means not beating yourself up over the areas where you fell short, but rather setting new goals for the year ahead and trying again. I think we all could use a fresh start every once in awhile, not just in the New Year, but there’s no time like the present!
Throwback to my Christmas thank you notes, written and mailed out a few weeks ago. I have always been a huge fan of thank you notes, and I think of making a beautiful envelope as my way of really showing my thanks! How many of you still send paper thank you notes??

My best friend brought her pregnant belly home from Canada as a souvenir. Can’t wait to celebrate her at a co-Ed Canada themed shower in February! And in the mean time, there’s a new addition to my Etsy shop today... These cutie-patootie baby shower invites are for: ☕️ my fellow coffee and tea lovers 🇨🇦 Canadian themed showers 🌲 Lumberjack themed showers 😏 All of the above Purchase the invite, send along the info for the shower, and I’ll send a digital file you can print at home or at FedEx ☺️
Real talk - Last week, in a moment of desperation, I googled ‘things to help you feel better when you feel like a terrible mom’ (after a green bean up the nose, a subsequent trip to the ER, and lots of tears on both my part and Jude’s.) All this to say, sometimes the words I feel compelled to share with others are what I need to hear most - and alternately, maybe someone else can benefit from hearing the reminders I tell myself. This is what my Note to Self series is all about. So for anyone who may need to hear it today, keep on keepin’ on. You’re doing a good job (whether you feel like it today or not.) / Note to Self series release: Thursday, Jan 17, 7pm CST ✨
#tellmetuesday: If I were to get you one of these cards, which one would I need to pick? Introverts recharge by spending time alone and lose energy from being around people (especially larger crowds) for long periods of time. Extroverts are the opposite and gain energy from other people. These cards were inspired by Justin (introvert) and how we are at complete opposite ends of the spectrum (I’m an extrovert)! When we are driving home from get togethers or parties, he always notes how pumped I am and how he needs to go decompress lol It took time for both of us to understand the other but we’ve been able to make it work so far! 😊💕 Each of these #cardsforacause provides 10 meals for The EEC Preschool and Nursery! They are available in my shop, click the link in my profile 💌
