It’s rainy and chilly here in LA - perfect soup weather 🙏 After experiencing Burning Man, I realized how much food waste I put into the world. I call this my End Soup. The base is saved scrap ends from kale, brussel sprouts, cauliflower, celery and anything else I cut off my veggies that week. I take those ends and blend them with a cream base (usually nut milk or coconut cream) and water. From there just season your pot with onions and garlic, brown any veggies you’d like, then add the base and any protein you’d like. I use chickpeas and black beans. Season to taste - salt, pepper, cumin, lemon. Top with quinoa, massaged kale, fresh tomatoes, and yogurt. TRY IT!
Finally made it to @scoopsbic 🍦 and it was so worth the trip. So many unique flavors to choose from. I wasn’t sure what to expect from the Charcoal flavor but it was so delicious 😋 especially paired with pistachio 🍦 ❤️❤️❤️ even our LO @raymonddorris wanted to try 😂 #icecream
One of my favorite things to do is go out to eat alone, phone away and fully present with what’s going on around me. The connections you make, even if only for a smile, are more powerful. It can be uncomfortable at first but it’s worth the experience. Try it 🌟
What are you doing the day after Thanksgiving? We slept in, made leftover hash (my favorite) and now debating going out for #blackfriday 🤔 😂 For #thanksgiving this year we tried a heritage 🦃 from @maryschicken and it was delicious. After many years of trying a slew of turkey recipes, I love that we now have our own that is a combination of everything we have loved in the past. Although the grilled turkey last year was pretty tasty, just not the prettiest... Anyways for the hash, I took the roasted veggies and diced them, stuffing and turkey bits in a pan with a couple eggs on top 👌🏻❤️
Stayed up way too late cooking and prepping for Thanksgiving😴 nothing a little ☕️ & 🍪 can’t fix. I secretly love the cooking and planning more than just eating 😆especially this year, everything has to be #babyfriendly 🤯 😂❤️
Our time in Denmark 🇩🇰 flew by. Could have spent so much more time but at last we have to return to 🌞 Cali ❤️this was the perfect first international trip for our baby but it is a miracle we survived the 22hours of travel...
@onezotapioca impressed us with their handmade tapioca. The flavours were so good and the texture was nice and soft unlike the tapioca from other stores that harden over time. The grapefruit green tea was a little too sour and bitter for us but we’d go back for their tapioca in a different drink 😁
