Tomorrow in Castlemaine friends! The first @thecreatorsmarket is coming to our neck of the woods and I'll be there from 9am to 2pm along with many other local and out of town stall holders. The @castlemainefestival & @castlemainefringe2019 begins tonight also so there is plenty to see & do if you would like to make a day/weekend of it!
I get such a buzz from being in a beautiful shop. I visited Daylesford Organic for the first time today. It's an exciting space filled with desirable and inspirational pieces. The visual merchandising is fun and dramatic and the staff are knowledgable, busy and friendly. I was thrilled by it, a feeling that I just don't get from shopping online. I think that there will always be a place for bricks and mortar retailers but like Daylesford they will have to be offering something very special #daylesford#retail @drapersonline @daylesfordfarm
Fab Chateau Leoube tasting y/day. 2018 roses superb and 2018 best vintage of Blanc I have tasted. Cabernet Franc fizz always good, witb reds on cracking form. Really enjoyed winemaker Romain Ott's tutored tasting. #chateauleoube#jeromepernot#provence#daylesford
Thursday night kitchen storm service. When you were busy in the middle of delivery dine in meals , then you received a big take out order .3 steaks and 4 pork belly , 2 fried rice and honey chicken . That is really a big challenge in a sudden. However, our well-organized kitchen team still manage to cook all the dishes in time 💪
Lovely tasting of @leoube last night! (I need to spit more! I’m in a bad way 😵). The sparkling Cab Franc was my absolute fave. Incredibly smooth with strawberries every which way. Really balanced with a beautiful colour. Took me right back to nailing oysters in Provence. Lovely stuff. The Collector 2013, the red cab franc was also pretty lovely but took a wee while to open up. Notes of cherry, cedar and liquorice made it old Skool classy as did the aroma of old books on the nose. Decant for 30-60 mins I’d say. Lush. Thanks goes to the stunning @pippa.penny and last and definitely least to @billybirv #provence#wine#leoube#winetasting#winelover#winenight#winery#vino#daylesford#thankyou
A very special find from Italy (Sorrento). Late 1800s console table and hand cut rococo style bevelled mirror discovered in Sorrento. On of my all time favourite pieces and looks very special in Station Mill, Chipping Norton
