Looking back on this Henrybuilt kitchen install I did last year, for @phillyfunky and his family. Pretty overwhelming at the start, with no shortage of challenging site conditions and other install issues, but It still came together wonderfully. Love the natural light that fills the space, the warmth of the floors, and the well-thought out cabinet system. . One of the challenges was the design and fabrication of the down draft stove top exhaust system. The original downdraft couldn’t be used so I designed a system that would suck the air through the backsplash, down through the cabinet and out through the floor joists. I CNC’d the paper stone backsplash to look intentional and installed grease filters, sandwiched between the backsplash and ductwork. . Shout out to @hellsangles for the custom sleek light fixture and @zackdeluca for beautiful table. #paperstone#customkitchen

Finally! I'm back in my workshop for the weekend! It's been ages since I was here last time, and way too long ago that I posted anything. Sorry guys! I've been keeping busy 😊 This weekend I'm putting together three small dovetail boxes to go in the kitchen cabinet I showed you a couple of posts back. These are the final boxes/drawers for that kitchen...✌🏻️ Here, I'm adjusting the Leigh jig in preparation for some routing action. More on the results tomorrow!
Well hello everyone. I hope you haven’t forgotten about me LOL. Life’s been very busy with the move, work and my daughter opening up her very first store front 😍 @gpmakeup gpmakeup Unpacking is almost done. Just waiting to do some small renovations, then I’ll post before and afters. The prior owners made some changes after they purchased the home which were changes that are totally what I would have done. Let’s just say our choice of style is very similar. But there are some rooms that I’m freshening up and will share as soon as they are finished. In the meantime, here is a sneak peak of where I love sitting and what I have always loved about this home. The windows. They remind me of our last home we built. Lots of windows and lots of light! The perfect spot to have my coffee enjoy the beautiful flowers from the prior owners. They have literally lasted two weeks and still going strong.
