🍎🍎 BIG APPLE 🍎🍎 . Yoo-Hoo!!! I have made it… Just writing this post and then finishing my packing…. Several hours before I take off to my friend’s wedding in NYC! Everything is lined up now! Really looking forward to seeing my lovelies at the wedding and beyond. I am so glad that I was able to persuade myself to carve out time out of my everyday busy-ness and I will be enjoying the Big Apple and surroundings for uninterrupted two weeks. . But back to our usual themes that you may be used by now to read about here. Cultural events! It would not have been me if I had not lined up several (or quite a few) cultural cultural escapades in NYC. I was spoilt for choice this time, even more than usual. So…. this time, I have narrowed it down to: . 🎼Absorbing every note of Samson and Delilah at Metropolitan Opera with the magnificent Elīna Garanča and Roberto Alagna . 🎨My regular scattered browsing through Guggenheim Museum . 🎨Getting lost in admiration at The Museum of Modern Art . 🎼Exploring new and established opera talent at 2018 Richard Tucker Gala at Carnegie Hall . 🎷Cheating on my religiously regular Blue Note jazz club with/at Village Vanguard listening to my new favourite Jon Batiste . 🎭Last but not least, checking out experimental staging of Shakespeare through collaboration between London’s Cheek by Jowl and Moscow’s Pushkin Theatre at Brooklyn Academy of Music . It looks like I will be quite preoccupied, but I will for sure find time to share all my findings with you. So, stay tuned if you fancy to hear the news form NYC cultural scene and its main contributors.
