⁣**HOLIDAY CLUB**⠀ ⠀ We will be running some holiday club sessions throughout the summer holidays. ⠀ ⠀ There will be no kids classes as normal through the holidays only the longer sessions, they will be Tuesday and Thursday 10.30am till 2pm. The cost will be £15 per child (please note I will only be running the class if there is at least 4 children) ⠀ ⠀ The session dates include:⠀ 23rd & 25th July⠀ 30th July & 1st August ⠀ 13th & 15th August⠀ 20th & 22nd August ⠀ 27th & 29th August ⠀ ⠀ There will be plenty of fun, team games, WODs, healthy eating/lifestyle talks and some free time for them to work on strength and weaknesses. Bring a packed lunch along for your child and plenty of drinks.⠀ ⠀ Please find the link below which covers one session obviously you can book your child onto so many sessions as you wish. Sendo chamado de kb swing russian (russo), movimento clássico. - Os EUA observaram o potencial do acessório para melhorar a aptidão dos seus atletas, e apelidaram o movimento “Swing” de American (americano) pela rivalidade entre os dois países. - O KB Swing é um movimento que faz com que o KB “balance” seja impulsionado pela extensão dos joelhos e quadris; e estabilizado pelo torso. - Este movimento pode ser uni ou bilateral com 2 ou 1 KBs. - Os americanos misturaram o Swing clássico (Russo) com o Snatch utilizando ambas as mãos para aumentar o desgaste metabólico acentuado e em pouco espaço de tempo. - Os Russos criaram o KB para ser utilizado com uma das mãos.  Diferença entre os estilos “clássico” e o “hardstyle”. Today I was explaining to some members in class the difference between competing and training and I realized that people may think they are the same.  Competing is testing. Competing doesn’t make you better at a particular movement or skill. Training does.  Maxing out your snatch doesn’t make you better at snatching. Hitting lots of repetitions, with good form, and minimal fails is how you will get better.  Successful lifts will train your brain to remember the movement patterns but on the other side, a lot of bad lifts will do the same.  So moral of the story, max out less, train more and try to make 90% of your lifts. Otherwise, go lighter. Finally get toes to bar! (Or get better at them!) .  Toes-to-bar are an advanced gymnastics movement that requires a lot a core strength and shoulder durability. .  How to start:  1. Jump straight up and grab the bar, or start with a very small jump into the bar top start your kip.  2. Reach your feet behind the bar, and your chest in front. .  How to get them:  1. Push down and away from the bar through your shoulders.  2. Tuck your knees high into your chest and reach your toes up to the bar. .  How to get the 2nd one:  1. On the way down, start thinking about getting your feet behind you, and your chest through. If you start swinging all over the place, you're likely missing one of these 2 things. .  Have questions?
