Still obsessed with this peace hoop hanging happily on my wall from the gorgeous @marigoldandmars ✌🏻💕If you haven’t been over to her feed recently you simply MUST! She’s back and her shop is full of the sweetest Christmas ornaments & treasures. Be sure to head over and say 👋🏻
I have a secret. ⠀ ..⠀ There's no way other way to say it, so I guess I'll just let this cat out of the bag. I love Facebook 🙈⠀ ..⠀ Yes, I know. I'm like the only one (unless you count your Nanna), but I'm totally into it. ..⠀ Which always cracks me up when every single person that walks through my door asks to give it up, and guess what I say EVERY time. Sorry girl, you have to keep it!⠀ ..⠀ Putting a little effort into The Book can really work to your advantage. It's not about being ultra curated; you can easily share your blog posts and other articles that relate to your biz, and that it if you use it right, can be a hub for your business. ⠀ ..⠀ Do you hate Facebook? Holla at yo' girl.⠀ .⠀ .⠀ #burnetteandco⠀
We were getting into the holiday spirit (hints the sweater) while listening to Christmas music and eating taquitos. When Shia decided to get a little crazy with the sour cream. Dinner time with this boy is always an adventure! ♡
We have 4 of these cardigans and they are the last ones in existence. Knit in Ohio, 100% wool. These make us think of Mr.Rogers, which makes us happy. That @kerfcase wallet snuck right into the photo because they fit anywhere.
One of the most common complaints I hear when it comes to Instagram is that there isn’t enough time. I read a quote recently by @thebriantracy that said for every minute you spend planning, you save 10 minutes in execution. And while I don’t know how exact that is, I will say planning things out saves so much time! Scrolling through your pictures and coming up with content on the spot is difficult, and it leads to overthinking and second guessing. When I plan for the week, it takes me about an hour or two, and then I set it and forget it. What I mean by that is that I don’t go back and reread those posts because I know I’ll start to overthink them. My favorite app for planning and scheduling posts is @planoly. And yes, every once in a while, something that I have planned doesn’t feel in alignment with what’s going on so I will save that post for a later time. Or a moment of inspiration strikes, and I post in the moment which just means I have content saved for another day. What stops you from planning out your content?
Happy Wednesday guys!! 😊 Super excited because the fam got to leave work early and we are getting away for the rest of the week! Working together as a family is great but getting away from work as a family is even better!! We are excited to see lights, shop, and throw those diets out the door for a few days! I am hoping to come back in some serious Christmas spirit!! 🤣🎄 What’s your plans the weekend before Thanksgiving??
Today, we want to hear from you about criticism. What kind of criticism have you found constructive in your practice, and what has been destructive? It’s important to remember not all criticism (or praise) should be taken to heart! Tell us about a time you received helpful or unhelpful feedback below 👇 Illustration from @themelodyh ✨
You write your story and you decide how you feel about your life. What are you choosing? The shit story that’s hard and and weighs you down? Or the story of a warrior that rises to the the battle when it’s go time?
