Who’s one of your auto-buy authors? • I’ve been a fan of @therealsjmaas since the very beginning of Throne of Glass! So if she’s venturing into adult genres, I’m there for that. House of Earth and Blood sounds amazing—check out the synopsis below! ❤️🧡💛 Half-Fae, half-human Bryce Quinlan loves her life. By day, she works for an antiquities dealer, selling barely legal magical artifacts, and by night, she parties with her friends, savoring every pleasure Lunathion-otherwise known as Crescent City-has to offer. But it all comes crumbling down when a ruthless murder shakes the very foundations of the city-and Bryce's world. Two years later, her job has become a dead end, and she now seeks only blissful oblivion in the city's most notorious nightclubs. But when the murderer attacks again, Bryce finds herself dragged into the investigation and paired with an infamous Fallen angel whose own brutal past haunts his every step. • Hunt Athalar, personal assassin for the Archangels, wants nothing to do with Bryce Quinlan, despite being ordered to protect her. She stands for everything he once rebelled against and seems more interested in partying than solving the murder, no matter how close to home it might hit. But Hunt soon realizes there's far more to Bryce than meets the eye-and that he's going to have to find a way to work with her if they want to solve this case. • As Bryce and Hunt race to untangle the mystery, they have no way of knowing the threads they tug ripple through the underbelly of the city, across warring continents, and down to the darkest levels of Hel, where things that have been sleeping for millennia are beginning to stir... With unforgettable characters and page-turning suspense, this richly inventive new fantasy series by #1 New York Times bestselling author Sarah J. Maas delves into the heartache of loss, the price of freedom-and the power of love. ❤️🧡💛 #creativebookstagram - Ombré • #booknerdsandfriends - Fave
Day 7 of #ocfinale: Tote Bag Selfie We've reached the end of the #owlcrate#finale box photo challenge! 💜💛❤️🖤 This has been a really fun challenge, I'm so glad I participated! I will admit taking and editing all these photos took a while, but I'm so happy with the results. Ok rather than a selfie, I did a SHELFIE (ha) to show off my #caraval collection! 📚 (I've actually obtained 2 more copies of Finale since I took this photo a few weeks ago whoopsssss.) My Caraval collection takes up 2/3 of a shelf now. At what point is owning too many books in one series? 📖 Asking for...a friend....and that friend is me. Q: On a scale of 1 to way too many, how many tote bags do you own and do you have a favorite? Now we shall return to our regularly scheduled #bookstagram. Thanks for following along! #readingandstuffjune19 - Magical reads #wildadventuresjune19 - Fave character arcs (Scarlett & Tella) #bookravensjun19 - Best Ending #ampersandjune19 - Favorite #summerbookishlovejune19 - Strong Female Character
↠ Recommend a book with diverse characters to me ! . . I still have to read some of the books pictured but I definitely recommend They Both Die At The End by Adam Silvera, the Six of Crows duology and The Gentleman‘s Guide to Vice and Virtue - they were all excellent reads in my opinion and have great representation 👌🏼 . But I‘m always on the hunt for more books like them, not only during pride month but all year 🌈 so any recommendations are more than welcome !
Happy Wednesday! ⠀ Let’s play a little predictive text game instead of a QOTD this time😁 ⠀ Start your sentence off with “I’m afraid to admit this but” and see what comes next..👀 ⠀ “I’m afraid to admit this but it’s a great way of thinking of what I can have done for the day.” ⠀ I love that my phone has a positive attitude today lol that makes one of us. 😅
