This move reverse dips inspired by @damesmithpro we did this during our workout(calisthenics based) this morning. The main focus was pullups(wide grip). To help him celebrate his milestone of never missing, a day in the gym. We did pullups. He reached his goal of 500 reps, i reached 254 reps this workout is circuit based, Also added was clean+press 100 reps(pyramid up to 90lbs), Hspu(handstand pushups) against the wall and farmers walk around the gym with 45lb plates 5 laps. After clean+press reached 100 reps it was replaced by reverse dips up to 50 reps. Then it was pullups for the rest of the remaining workout till his goal of 500 was reached. So pullups, clean+press, Hspu, farmers walk and reverse dips in that order.  A great workout indeed, @damesmithpro took lead and this was his workout, i answered the call and joined him in this gauntlet of his workout. It's was a rain check that was planned, and was fulfilled today. Lots of motivation and pushing each other here. I leave for my Christmas vacation tomorrow! So I’m prancing around town today in this fun (albeit slightly goofy) outfit. I am getting looks and compliments! I also decided to shoot some videos to honor the #giftofexercise. ⁣ ⁣ During this stressful shopping and party season, take a moment to #stopandstretch.  These two videos (swipe) show off some amazing stretches on the #corealign machine from @balanced_body . ⁣ ⁣ The first one is called “Bird” and opens up the pecs and stretches the calves.  Make sure the foot is pointing directly forward to maximize the stretch benefit. ⁣ ⁣ The second one is “Good morning” stretch which also is a great calf stretch and can open up the chest, lats and shoulders. ⁣ ⁣ I love to start my posture Pilates sessions with one of these exercises. 3 AB EXERCISES YOU NEED TO BE DOING • 🔥 Knee/Leg Raises 🔥 - Slowly bring legs or knees up to 90 degrees - Control the motion and limit any swinging - Blow air out on each rep - 3 sets of 10-12 reps - Easy? Try them hanging from a pull up bar! • 🔥 Cable Crunch 🔥 - Use a bar, rope, or any attachment - Get into kneeling position - Crunch down and blow air out each rep - At top, arch back and let abs stretch - 3 sets of 10-12 reps • 🔥 Ab Wheel 🔥 - Get on knees, use mat for support - Roll out slowly, keeping core tight - Roll back and contract abs - Blow air out each rep - 3 sets of 6-10 reps - If too difficult, just perform eccentric part of rep • If you found these helpful, share with a friend! I want to talk a bit about Complete Core and Stretch Class and why you might want to check it out💚 This class is my baby. A few years ago Art gave me the opportunity to create my own class. Whatever I thought would be the most valuable for our clients. I chose core and stretch because these are so crucial to the rest of our training but also often neglected. In the class we train all the muscles of the core from every angle. All core muscles are needed for optimal stabilization and performance. There's 29 muscles in the core. Not only will strengthening them make you stronger at every other exercise (how often do you hear us say "core tight" for every movement?), but will also help prevent injury by providing functional stability to the lumbar spine.  Complete Core and Stretch is held every Sunday morning from 10-11 am. It is included in memberships, and drop-ins and non-members are welcome😊
