The Aussies do a gr8 job here with their brekky and coffee! @threefoldcafe on Girlada (Coral Gables) is a wonderful spot for breakfast, brunch or lunch. Bitter is Better Among the food trends for 2019 is an increase in bitter flavors. Whether it’s in a cocktail when you belly up to the bar or in that sautéed kale on your plate, you can expect to see (and taste) more bitter flavors in the coming months. A Few Good Carbs Who doesn’t love fries? Sadly, the starchy white potato version are not the healthiest side for that yummy cheeseburger. But, don’t despair, not all carbs are a no-no. In fact, some insulin resistant starches such as yucca, plantains, and cassava are actually good for you. Besides being high in fiber, they also boost your immune health. For more about how to incorporate healthy carbs into your diet, check out TPB’s latest blog. —->LINK IN BIO
🍕review in Miami: I was passing by this place the other night and I thought I’d check out their menu which was hanging outside. One of the guys from the restaurant came out and handed me a free pizza coupon and made my freaking day! I went back there today to try the pizza and their bruschetta. I’ve tried a lot of pizza’s before, and this definitely secured a spot in my top 5. The tomato sauce had a sweet tang to it which makes you crave more, and all the ingredients tasted extremely fresh. The staff was very friendly and welcoming as well! I highly suggest you check this place out if you’re in Miami, issa 10/10!!!
Chickpeas and Chicken Make Great Partners At TPB, we love to add extra nutrients, protein, and fiber into our dishes. One of our go-to favorites is chickpeas or garbanzo beans. These little golden nuggets of goodness pack tons of protein, potassium, and fiber into each bite. This Chicken and Chickpea Stew is a seasonal favorite when the temps dip in Miami, which, you know means we've dropped below 70. 😉 What's your favorite way to eat chickpeas? Hummus? Roasted on a salad? Added to a stew? Check out our blog ---> LINK IN BIO

Eat Your Veggies! One of our favorite ways to prepare vegetables at The Pickled Beet is to roast them. Roasting brings out the natural sugars in vegetables and enables them to caramelize, adding another layer of flavor. These Roasted Root Vegetables, -->recipe in bio link
