There’s a fantastic special section on cooking in today’s @nytimes! @samsifton wrote it—he’s a brilliant food writer, one of the very best in the biz. I look forward to reading his smart, witty newsletter, and the book he wrote on Thanksgiving is an all-time favorite of mine. The special section is titled, “You Don’t Need a Recipe,” but of course we all do! Sam shares a collection of what he calls “no-recipe recipes” that I’d argue are, in fact, recipes. They are a beautiful style of writing called narrative recipes. I wrote a bunch of these kinds of recipes with Russ in the @camino_oakland cookbook and I’ll be teaching a class that includes narrative recipe writing at @unisg_official this spring. Here’s a lovely narrative recipe adapted from my forthcoming cookbook, The Newlywed Table. @grahamwbradley letterpress-printed a stack of these posters at @sanfranciscocenterforthebook. Cookbooks! I genuinely can’t cook to save my life but I’ve been getting into them in an aspirational, “look how rich my life is in sensory experiences” way. My most-made recipes of all time are Nigella’s pancakes (by a mile) this bean and tomato thing of Nigel Slater’s from “Real Food” and suddenly this orzo pasta and tomatoes thing you put in the oven, from Rukmini Iyer’s book “The Green Roasting Tin”. This was lent to me by a friend who knows of cooking, and l loved it so much I bought my own copy. Basically all foods can go in the oven it turns out! And then you can go and do something fun like read a book or watch TV, rather than staring at a pan for 45 minutes. I have other cookbooks I read to daydream about an amazing imaginary life, like Diana Henry’s “How to Eat a Peach” but her ideas of “simple” and mine differ enormously. Если вы начнете искать рецепты правильного питания #пп - то в любом случае придете к овсяноблину😆👍 Это тот же самый блин, только полезнее😊 Мы сразу с ним подружились😋 Итак: 1яйцо взбалтываем с 100мл молока и щепоткой соли. Добавляем 50гр овсяной муки (берем овсяные хлопья и измельчаем блендером, даже если не получится мука-ничего страшного, некоторые вообще кладут целые хлопья). Даем тесту 5минут постоять. Жарим на антипригарной сковороде на среднем огне без масла! Накрываем крышкой,чтобы пропеклось. У меня из этого количества теста получается 2 блина. Многие пишут,что есть рецепт на кефире, но я не пробовала, меня полностью устроил этот вариант. Муку можно использовать и другую:кукурузную, рисовую, ржаную.. . Начинки: 🍌мягкий творог + банан+корица 🍅 твердый сыр+помидор 🐠 творожный сыр+малосоленая рыбка 🍯 фрукты +мед Вкуусно и полезно!🔝 Немаловажно,что он оочень сытный!
