I have found that writing it down or sharing it with those around me helps keep a sense of accountability which motivates me to ACT! . Little-known fact about me...I was a Resolutioner back in 2010 and I struggled to catch flame for a year prior because I was ashamed and felt discouraged. 2010 I changed my mindset and made a commitment to simply treat myself BETTER and to choose actions that would IMPROVE my wellbeing. What began as a simple self-promise to move for an hour a day, evolved into a total transformation (🧠🦋🦄) and a future in helping others along the way. I’ve been gifted the opportunity to participate on @nhprexchange (NH Public Radio) to answer listener questions and share knowledge on the topic of lifestyle change and fitness! What an honor it will be and I hope you all can tune in tomorrow from 9am-10am on 89.1 or 104.3 (NHPR)
Do you tend to give up at the 1 yard line? . . You are either on two curves. The success curve or the failure curve. If you keep doing what you are doing will eventually see results! No matter what. If you keep sitting in the sofa, hours on end, everyday, eating foods that do not serve you, eating more than what your body is using in energy to function. You will eventually see results....most likely weight gain, lethargy, maybe spots! Reduced fitness levels, achey joints. . . . If you do 30 mins of exercise a day and eat more foods that serve you, like veg, herbs and spices, healthy supplements, foods filled with micronutrients that feul your metabolism, eventually over time you will see results! Improved fitness levels. Increased energy, better sleep, possible weight loss, better skin. . . . You see both actions get results! But only one is on the success curve. Small action everyday mounts up to big results. You may not see any results on the first day, first week, first 30days maybe even 90days! But it could be the 91st day when your results decide to show and you quit on the 90th. . . . This girl @sophierippin is a prime example! She has not given up! She has kept at it despite the results! Months of working hard, while the mental and practical results are incredible! The physical results were not as quick, but low and behold the results are showing! 6% body fat down! Improved strength and lean body mass up and Her muscle definition is starting to come through! If she gave up long ago she would not have seen these results. So proud of you Sophie!!! . . . Be well.
