Alright fam, I’m working on a new project (more on that soon 😉) and am building a simple website landing page for it. 👩🏽💻 I wanted the page to be responsive on all devices and have a lightweight email sign up form. 📲 — I started bringing myself up to speed on the latest and greatest in web development and was super excited to try out gatsbyjs! 😮 It “weaves together the best parts of React, webpack, react-router, GraphQL, and other front-end tools in to one very enjoyable developer experience.” 🎉 And, I can confirm, this is the fastest I’ve ever gotten a React site off the ground. 💃🏽 Gatsbyjs has a ton of great plugins, starter templates, and documentation to help get you going. 👍🏽 — I’ve got my website working using a responsive starter temple, the Mailchimp plugin to collect emails and was able to deploy the whole site in less than a minute with Surge 😻 (another tool you should check out). Can’t wait to share it with you all soon! 👻
“Coding helps children with communication, creativity, math, writing, and confidence,” Kelly Perez said. “The concepts of thinking critically to solve abstract math problems are used in coding and allows students to use math in a real-world application,” she said. “This can help in the development of student’s confidence.” #stem#coding#lmath#education
Day 26/100 of code Back on the Udemy android course. Currently working the memorable places app, trying to get it to show the actual stored address rather than the longitude/latitude. I have it stored within the app, however having trouble figuring out how to access it.
