Words could never express just what an impact rolling thunder has on you, until you actually do it. For the first time since I was in the military, my heart swelled with pride. Not because of the type of motorcycle I was on, or the leather on my back, but because of the genuine American pride that was on display today. No politics or bickering, just people gathered together along the sides of the road. They displayed genuine care for each other, those that we have lost, and proud to be an American. Not proud to be Republican, Democrat, gay, straight, religious or anything. They are just proud to be American. I saw all ages from babies in strollers, kindergarteners, highscoolers, college, middle aged, to retired! All waving American flags or signs of those they lost to thank you for riding in rolling thunder. Old and young everyone riding. A ton of us veterans but a lot not. All in a common goal of unity in full display. It was an amazing experience, and one that I'm sad to see ended just as I've discovered it. I heard parents with their children tell me that rolling thunder is the only memorial day their children have ever known. That they value getting to see and talk to so many veterans assembled in one place from the Korean war to our current wars. That their children have an event bigger then political bickering to get to know the real America or at least what it was meant to be. All of us in unity, together better. God bless America it was an amazing day, one I didn't want to see end. #powerlifter#powerlifting#marines#ilovemymarine#motorcycle#indianmotorcycle#chiefs#chiefsnation#rollingthunder#memorialday
Every Sunday I’ll be doing week by week predictions until the season starts ****************************************************** Week 4 Chiefs@Lions Prediction: Chiefs win 34-23 Explanation: I’ll admit that the Lions are a little under rated heading into the 2019 season, but they still have yet to show they can beat elite teams consistently. The Chiefs should go into Detroit and leave without much worry. I just don’t see Matthew Stanford leading his team to beat the Chiefs here. #chiefs#chiefskingdom#chiefsnation#nfl
#gochiefsgo#chiefsnation 👨🏼🎤😎🚬🍺
Just wanted to let to all know that I had a terrible accident today, but I am doing better now. I decided today to go horseback riding which I haven't done in years. Well, I get on the horse and started out slow, and then we went a little faster and then we were going as fast as the horse could do. All of a sudden I fell off and caught my foot in the stirrup and the horse was dragging me around in a circle. It wouldn't stop, just going around and around in a circle. If it weren't for a quick thinking man (I owe my life to) I would probably not have made it. Thank goodness the store manager at Walmart came out and unplugged the machine. #powerlifter#powerlifting#marines#ilovemymarine#motorcycle#indianmotorcycle#chiefs#chiefsnation
Kansas City Chiefs Mt. Rushmore TE Tony Gonzalez HC Hank Stram QB Len Dawson LB Derrick Thomas HM’s: DT Buck Buchanan, LB Willie Lannier, G Will Shields, S Johnny Robinson, HB Priest Holmes Gonzalez was a pretty easy one, he’s almost undoubtably the greatest tight end in NFL history, and he’s the Chiefs all-time leader in every major receiving category. Hank Stram was the Chiefs first head coach, and a huge part in why they were arguably the best team in the AFL before the merger. He also never had an offensive, defensive, or special teams coordinator on his staff: Stram did it all. Dawson was the Chiefs franchise quarterback during the 60’s and 70’s and was probably the best the AFL ever had. His 30 touchdown passes in 1964 was the Chiefs single season record until just this past year. Thomas was the premier pass rusher in the NFL throughout the 90’s and is the Chiefs all-time sack leader, as well as the NFL record holder for most sacks in a single game. I found this one a lot easier than the Chargers 😂 Is there anything you would’ve done differently? Let me know! #nfl#nfllegends#nflgoat#nflhistory#kansascitychiefs#chiefsnation#tonygonzalez#hankstram#lendawson#derrickthomas
Jarvis Landry X Jordan Lucas ‼️ - @dropp @juice_landry Whenever it’s the off-season, it’s really hard to keep up with posts, but right now I am making a list of post ideas. I may or may not get to post over the weekend because I may go camping and won’t have service. However, I’m just ready for the season to start. 👍🏼
The Raiders this year was a wild ride. After Gruden basically tanked, you got 3 first round picks (including the 4th) a new GM, and talent. And the team got a huge dose of talent. The question is, how far will they go? Are they playoff bound? Do they still need some pieces? Or will they be a bottom feeder like last year? ——————————————————— This team was deprived of talent. It was only Derek Carr, an Amari Cooper who was traded at deadline, and a couple of O-linemen. This offseason however, talent is the one thing you’ve overstocked on. Lamarcus Joyner, LB Brandon Marshall, Trent Brown, Curtis Riley, Vontaze Burfict just to name a few pickups in free agency. Let’s not forget the crown jewel, Antonio Brown. A top flight receiver who talent wise, can make a huge impact. The draft holds some talent as well. Clelin Ferrell, Josh Jacobs, Johnathon Abram, Hunter Renfrow, Trayvon Mullen, and more. This offseason looks to be a step in the right direction. However, there are the three flaws which can derail the entire plan. First off, you did let go of some of your 2018 talent. Kelichi Osemele traded to the Jets. Jordy and Penn cut due to old age. Jared Cook goes to his best chance for a championship in the Saints. Rashaan to Detroit. These aren’t the biggest pieces (except Osemele and Cook), but it’s still noticeable losses. Secondly, the draft you had was good, but could’ve been far better. Instead of Clelin, you could’ve gotten the #3 prospect in Josh Allen. Jacobs was a need and the talent is there, but you could’ve waited til the 27th and snagged a Jerry Tillery, or any of the corners. This logic can also apply to the 27th. And Trayvon could’ve easily been Greedy. The Raiders should’ve been a lot better if this plan went. And finally the potential drama fest. Antonio Brown, a key piece in the Steelers feud. Vontaze, the dirtiest player in football. Those 2 hated each other before, this could ruin the locker room.
I know it’s not Thursday but I wanted to throw it back to last weeks @chiefs fantasy fan day. I had the opportunity to meet so many amazing workers in media, assisted my ku media mentors, and of course met some of the best Chiefs players in franchise history. Wish I could’ve snapped a pic with one my childhood favorites the x-factor @dantehall82 but honestly just enjoyed being able to have a conversation with him at breakfast #crazy. Here’s to the NFL Draft being in KC in 2023! Let’s go KC! #chiefskingdom#kc#kansascity#chiefsnation#nfl#native#kcphotography#photographer Blessed🙏🏾
