Good morning! How glorious is this sunshine ☀️?! . I’ve been listening to few podcasts at the moment which have been, largely by coincidence, about stress/life load and the very real physical effect it can have on the body 👎🏻. . In very simplistic terms, when the body is busy producing cortisol to keep up with the demand of our crazy lifestyles, digestion, production of sex hormones and immunity amongst other functions, are compromised 🤦🏻♀️. . The good news is that the are simple things we can do to combat this, one of them being taking a little bit of time out in the day to look after you 🧘🏼♀️....a simple 10 minute walk in nature, actually taking your lunch break and going for a walk in the sunshine, meditating, having a hot bath, reading a good book, meeting a friend for coffee...basically anything enjoyable to YOU that will promote some inner calm. . The latest podcast I listened to was with @drchatterjee and @_natashadevon where she talks about being able to meditate during her commute on the tube! On that note, I’m off to try this on my journey this morning 🎧. . Hope you all have a fantastic FRIDAY 💫🦋. P.s, shout out to my #instahusband @jordsheppard for capturing me trying to regain some inner calm in nature 📸 😉.
I absolutely LOVE studying ( I never did at school ha ha ha - I think that is because I was being told what I had to study and now I CHOOSE what I study). However, I believe studying only teaches you a lot of facts, you learn a whole different dimension by going out there and taking action and putting that knowledge into action. I know from my own experience, especially with Reiki I Learn something new with each patient I treat, as everyone’s energy is different and my intuition grows too (that’s something the text books didn’t teach me). I have just completed my Thinking into Results program and has seen HUGE shifts in my life from work through this course. It has taught me the importance of feeling the fear and doing it anyway. I chose this course as I wanted to stretch myself as person so I can become a better coach to my wellbeing clients. I loved it SO much I’m back to start it again this time with a different goal and I’m super excited to see what I can learn this time round! What are you studying at the minute and what results have you seen from putting what you have learnt into practice?
