Welcome to day 5 of #fallback2basics 🍁 [werbung] Today’s pose is is Chaturanga Dandasana. * From plank pose (See day 4 for description) align your shoulders slightly ahead of the wrists and bend your elbows to a 90 degree angle to lower your body into half a push-up. Your upper arms are parallel to the floor and your elbows are drawn in against your sides. * Keep your body straight as you continue to reach through the heels, sternum and crown of the head. Gaze slightly forward. * Modification (swipe left): from plank pose start with lowering your knees to the floor, then follow the steps above. *  Make sure to listen to your body and modify as you need to. Yo jamás he tenido buena elasticidad y la he trabajado en muchos deportes y avanzo muy lento comparado a los demás pero no importa, importa que lo siga intentando al final lo hago por mí. 💡Alignment Basics with Jordan Bloom💡 How to get your Chaturanga right? . . . Today want to explore CHATURANGA DANDASANA | 4-limbed staff pose. We practice this pose in most sun salutations but we can equally practice this pose on its own. This Asana is a great practice to build up strength that we need for arm balances and inversions. We have Jordan demonstrating us today common challanges we face in this pose and how to get around them . . . Coming from plank pose (kumbhakasana) Engage your core Tuck your tailbone Firm your shoulder blades against your back ribs Exhale and slowly come down, bending your elbows Hover over your mat Push strongly into your hands Inhalte, straighten your elbows and come up again into plank Repeat 5x Relax into childs pose . . . Common challenges 💡You feel like you will collapse on your face 😱 It might be that your arms haven't built up the necessary strength yet. Just place your knees on the mat and practice like this for a while 💡Your elbows fall to the sides Place a belt around your upper arms (see Jordan's demonstration) A nice trick to develop more proprioception of what you are arms are doing . . Chaturanga Dandasana, is a foundation towards strength. With entering your feet should be hip width apart, keeping your back straight. Elbows at 90° close to your ribs, with hands shoulder width apart. Shoulders should be squared with your chest opened, core activated aswell as your thighs. Shift your weight forward with your gaze, staring down the tip of your nose. Partiendo desde #adhomukhasvanasana un flow buscando que los pies queden entre las manos #hastabandha que estan el mat. Para hacer una torsión algo ruda #pasasana (Primera postura de la serie intemedia de #ashtanga) Tratar de amarrar  las manos por detras no lo logre pero se puede hacer una buena palanca entre el brazo y piernas opuesta a nivel de la rodilla, pero eso no fue lo dificil. چاتورانگا دانداسانا (chaturanga dandasana)  معنی:  چاتور(chatur) به معنی چهار است. آنگا(anga) به معنی عضو؛ و داندا (danda) به معنی چوب بلند است. در این وضعیت 4 عضو بدن یعنی دست ها و پاها، بدن را نگه می دارند؛ و بدن موازی زمین و سفت، مثل یک چوب است.  تکنیک: • روی شکم دراز بکشید. انگشتان و سینه پا را روی زمین قرار دهید. • آرنج ها را خم کنید و کف دست ها را طرفین قفسه سینه قرار دهید. پاها را حدودا 30 سانتی متر فاصله دهید و دنبالچه را داخل بکشید. • همراه بازدم، بدن را بالا بیاورید تا آرنج ها 90 درجه و بازوها موازی زمین شوند. وزن را به کف دست ها و انگشتان پاها بدهید. • .بدن را مثل چوب سفت نگه دارید. از سر تا پاشنه پاها موازی زمین است و زانوها صافند.(می توان در ابتدا زانوها را روی زمین قرار داد؛ و به مرور زمان و همراه با قوی شدن عضلات، حرکت را به صورت کامل انجام داد) • دقت کنید که آرنج ها کنار تنه بمانند و کمر به سمت زمین نرود. • به روبرو نگاه کنید. این حرکت را از وضعیت خط کش(اوتیتا چاتورانگا دانداسانا) نیز می توان انجام داد که در اینصورت به همراه بازدم، تنه را پایین می آوریم تا آرنجها نود درجه شوند.  فواید: • قوی کردن دست ها • افزایش تحرک و قدرت مچ دست ها • تنظیم ارگان های شکمی • زیبا کردن حالت بدن • افزایش قدرت ماهیچه های پشت و ماهیچه های
