Every day is diffrent, every day is exciting. We spend our days as they come, we chill, we drive, we explore or we just work all day long. It's hard to get a routine in vanlife because every day something unexpected happens. . Not having the family around nor a job routine means that there are no holidays because every day is holy. There are no mondays or fridays because we decide how much we work, which can mean two weeks straight or not at all for a couple of days. . We distinguish the days by cold and warm, rainy and dry or alone and in company. . Just a couple of weeks back full-time in the van and we already lost our sense of time and forgot, that it's the easter weekend! . . We will not celebrate as we are not very religious. For me holidays are about to be with the family and if I'm not - its just another day. How important are holidays in your life? 👣🐾🚐
What a great community this is, thank you to everyone who has shared that our van is for sale! It means so much. We stopped in Marfa on our way to the White Sands and from everyone’s pictures I assumed it would be totally vacant there. Wrong. This is obviously a huge destination. There was a line just to take pics in front of this place 😂 was it that way when you went through too?!
Let’s talk about living in a van with your partner....⠀ ⠀ Partner = best friend, lover, confidant, peacemaker..... ⠀ ⠀ Sharing such a small space with someone isn’t the easiest thing to do. ⠀ ⠀ Actually, this is probably the hardest thing you could do to a relationship. ⠀ ⠀ There is no escape from each other when you live in a van. This is the truest test of love that I can think of.⠀ ⠀ I’m not going to lie to you and say that we never fight and everything is unicorns 🦄, rainbows 🌈 and, cupcakes 🧁 because let’s be real it’s definitely not! ⠀ ⠀ It’s a real struggle some days, we snap at each other and then apologize seconds, minutes or hours later. ⠀ ⠀ The fights could go on and on if you let them but what vanlife has taught me is to voice what’s wrong in the moment and then try to let it go. If you can’t then talk it out.⠀ ⠀ Mainly just find peace with what really bothers you and fix it. Our time is too short not to enjoy every second of this existence we call life. ⠀ ⠀ I’m eternally grateful to have such an amazing love like Brie to enjoy this journey with. ⠀ ⠀ Seriously hats off to such an understanding down to earth partner.⠀
-nature is beautiful 🍃 getting the best view sat on top of the van looking through the trees to the beach. 🌿 after driving hours through dead towns and cities realising everything is shut for good Friday we find this gorgeous spot ⭐️-
