Considering it’s humpday. Why not show you my humpday transformstion. 8 MONTHS OF HARD WORK CAN LOOK LIKE THIS πŸ€―πŸ’€πŸ‘I’m not here to tell you that booty bands and eating salads will get you this, because as most of you know, I’m a cookie LOVER, and I train hard nearly every day of the week. I know people @kingsgymofficial know my game face, and have described it as ‘murderous’ looool. 🀷🏻‍♀️ • • How did I achieve this? Glute bridges, squats, deadlifts. I only train legs TWICE a week. Anymore and your muscles won’t be having enough time to recover, any less and your muscles won’t go through enough hypertrophy to see considerable difference. • • Keep yourself accountable. I didn’t know my transformation was at all this dramatic until I flicked through some old photos today. Stay focused, stay dedicated, eat your fats, proteins and carbs (and greens and cookies), and you’re already on the right track.

First time trying to #skinthecat with straight arms and legs. Phew! That was another level of torture 🀣 Having said that, keeping the technique as clean as I possibly can is my biggest takeaway from this style of training. .  Even if you cheat a little, it really disturbs the progression to the next level. That's the truth about #calisthenics . “I’d just arrived in Bali, sweaty, tired and looking for the nearest gym to release. There were none.” Now of course Bali has gyms.  Problem is I couldn’t find them as I hadn’t brushed up on the local dialect.  Plus there were hardly any, and often hid away.  And they weren’t really gyms.  One gym I went to had some of the usual equipment, more the old bodybuilding stuff.  Rusty plates, thin bending bars and no AC.  Just 34c of Humid tropical heat.  BUT in defence of the Balinese, they knew how to adapt to what they had.  Where gym equipment was too expensive and in short supply they trained with a mixture of bodyweight and the kind of weights you see in this picture 🐡  But what do you do when you aren’t near a gym or don’t want to spend Out per month?  What is the option then?  Luckily you can train bodyweight πŸ’ͺ🏼 If you want size, you fix your nutrition and train progressively difficult moves (or add weight to the move). If you want leanness, you fix your diet and perform progressively difficult moves. Possibly with a focus on more repetition based circuits thrown in.  Whatever you want, you can adapt to it.  Just like the Balinese. I’m not sure if it was my fatigue from this weeks heat and mood or if it was just technically tricky but this took me a good 45minutes to actually get down. Kudos Rock you almost defeated me!! . I’m looking forward to July, I’m pushing my “resolutions” of better health, improving mobility, increase my KB snatch reps and work with a trainer more closely for the mace.
