San Francisco, it has been a pleasure! ............ Have you been to San Francisco? What was your first impression? What did you think about the city life? ............. I will always remember it as a city with two faces: .......... We spent more than 5 days in #sanfrancisco, and we could have stayed even longer. It's a big city and there is so much to do. What impressed us the most is this mix of a modern city with lots of start-ups and progress, but also the spirituality and the creative vibes of the people who believe in their dreams. San Francisco inspires you to dream big, and it makes you feel like everything is possible! ......... However, it can be challenging and the competition here is hard. It's not as easy as people might think when they come to San Francisco. There are a lot of homeless people on the streets, as well as car break ins. Not everything is wonderful and easy-going, but so far every big city gave us that kind of impression, which is not so different from what we would see in big cities in Germany like Berlin. .......... I would always come back though! This city is full of possibilities and inspiring people who believe in themselves like our Couchsurfing friends @omidahourai and @gaspersopi ! You guys inspired us and we're to had a great time co-working, playing table soccer and just getting to know you better! All the best to you and I hope all your dreams come true 🍀 ..…....... .. .. .. #positivevibes#america#sanfrancisco#financialdistrict#goldengatebridge#goldengatepark#inspiringpeople#startup#business#modern#downtown#sky#noevalley#houses#cablecars
This huge project to connect La Paz and El Alto is really paying off! 11 cable car lines connect the different parts and, as subsidised by the government, the fares are low (3Bs). People can move around faster and safer, while enjoying the incredible view. Now Evo Morales is pushing the company Doppelmayr to finish the project before the elections in August, to show off with what he has done for his people. He is running for his fourth (!!) term as president! #bolivia#cablecars#lapaz#elalto#connect#view

Где вы уже успели побывать и куда бы хотели попасть?
Colombia 🇨🇴Bogota- Nestled far up in the Andes mountain range, at 2600m (that’s 8600ft in ‘American’), Bogota (originally 'Bacata' by the Muisca natives meaning "The Lady of the Andes") is the 3rd highest capital in the world (+ SAmerica) after Quito & La Paz. 50M people, 68 dialects, sharing borders with Panama, Venezuela, Brazil, Peru & Ecuador..One of the top 10 most dense & biodiverse places on earth encapsulating the Amazon, tropical rainforests, the Andes and both Caribbean + Pacific coastlines. This is a country that makes drinking coffee an experience that rivals wine tasting.. A country conquered by the Spanish in 1500's, then had to wait 300 years for independence in 1819.. These people have seen too much bloodsheed, >250k deaths in < 50yrs to the drug/ gang/ guerilla warfare of the 1960's-2000's...names like Pablo Escobar & cities like Bogota & Medellín have had it all. Yet today, we see cable cars connecting some of the poorest areas to the city, so people can access work easily vs the 2-3hr walk from their homes in the foothills to the cities; a city one that comes to a standstill on Sundays as highways turn into bike lanes for a full day of cruising.. But in our continuous search for El Dorado, the "city of gold', which lured so many Spanish & Europeans here in the 15-16th c. we instead found paloquemao - a fruit market like nothing i've ever seen, even better than those deep in the northern Australian tropics (or Melb's Vic Market :) with feijoa, mangostino and granadill... While 8M Colombians call Bogota home, biking through ur endless streets I was blown away by the colour & history spread across the walls.. along w the cleanliness & pride in their streets. While this may be a place that has seen it's share of bloodshed, significant change is underway - even hosting the 2016 Nobel Peace Prize winner - President Juan Manuel Santos.. You are brave and beautiful Colombia.. scars and all.. #bogota#colombia#amazonrainforest#cablecars
Leave nothing but footprints 👣, Take nothing but photos 📷, Kill nothing but time 🕰 I’ve got adventure in my soul and I am super grateful to be able to experience all of them with my son! One of the best gifts I can give him is a lifetime of adventure. Exposing him to new activities and new places. I want to continue making so many fun memories. Today Alexander took his 1st trip on the San Francisco Cable Cars 🚋 To be able to witness the priceless expression on his face is a blessing! He was just too excited. Cheers to many more! _________ #adventures#cablecars#cablecarsanfrancisco#pricelessmoments#sanfrancisco#sanfranciscotreat#sfnative#firsttimer#motherandson#newexperiences
Singapore, you've been so dream-like. The ideal destination for the first trip abroad for an Indian! This was my first trip away from my home country, and I can't say that I had any time to miss home at all. A country full of life! Many thanks to @travartofficial for organising and executing this delightful trip. 🤠 #singapore#cablecars#mountfaber#singaporebay#traveller#firkistravels
