TMQ’s 2018 ‘Featured Quilter’, Barbara presented two new quilts she’s made at the March PM meeting. The first, Pinkerton, was based on a Laura Heine collage pattern and was created during a 2018 Fabric Chick class. Barbara’s revision to the original pattern included reducing the size by 50%, modifying the background and adding more flowers. She also chose to face the outside rather than use a binding. Her second presentation, Merry Witches, is a Buggy Barn Pattern using fabric from Barbara’s stash. Great job Barbara! #quilting#buggybarn#lauraheinepattern#lauraheinecollage#fabriccollage#fabricchicks#witchquilts#myfabricstash#modernquilting
👀 All those extras! Finished! Took over 7 years, but it was well worth the wait. Bittersweet Briar (cotton and wool appliqué ), designed by #kimdiehl#kimdiehlquilts , machine quilted by Ruth's Machine Quilting, and hand appliquéd by me 😀. I took a class many years ago at the #buggybarn during their quilt show.
