Got biceps? 💪🏽😉. ——— Same exercise but completely different 😉 ——— 📌SWIPE and SAVE📌 ——— 👉🏽follow @heathers_fit_tips For more fitness tips and videos❤️ ——— So which one is better? Well that depends.🤔. With a barbell you can work from a fully locked out position to a fully contracted position (squeezing the biceps.) When using the dumbbells you can make little tweaks to the movement and you have a little better range of motion. Also with dumbbells there is no where to cheat or utilize a dominant side like you can when using a barbell, (often times the stronger side takes over to get the bar up.) With dumbbells the weight is evenly distributed among each arm. But with the barbell you can hit different parts of the bicep depending on if you have your hands closer or farther apart on the bar. And with a barbell you can usually lift a heavier load... but often times if you are not careful you start to hip thrust the bar up which ends up taking the tension off the muscle. (Although keep in mind cheat curls can play a role in your programming depending on how it’s applied.) ——— So what’s better? 😏IMO they both have a place in a program.! ——— #fittip - if you have a small twist of the wrist at the top of the movement when using the dumbbell version and slightly bring your pinky’s towards your medial delt, this helps assist in contracting the biceps just a little more!😊 ——— Ok so #costco had my most favorite #pumpkin spice chocolate almonds on clearance today.... ummmmmm I may have bought 4 bags....😜 they only come out once a year and I couldn’t resist.... hopefully I’m stocked up enough till next year😉. . . . . . . #trainingtips#gymtips#homeworkouts#strongbiceps#biceps#strongarms#liftweights#lifting#bodybuilding#strongmom#bozeman#personaltrainer#onlinetraining#homeworkouts_4u #fitover40#dumbells#girlswholift#powerlifting#strengthtraining#workout#fitstagram

Little did I realize a few minutes after I took this picture a skier was going to ski out of control and take me out😬 But on the bright side the view was pretty great today!😍 #bridgerbowl#bozeman#bozemanmontana
Today was the Women’s March. Hundreds of people took to the streets of downtown Bozeman, advocating for women’s rights and the end to violence against women. I believe that political issues are more complicated than anyone would care to admit, but there’s nothing complicated about giving women equal treatment and putting an end to violence against women. 🛑 On a lighter note, it has been a while... I am not a fan of social media so I have thought long and hard about what it is that I want my social media presence to be. I don’t have an answer, but what i will do is post some of my most recent work and hopefully you’ll be into that. Cheers! 🍻 #womenempowerment#womensmarch#bozeman#bozemanmontana#downtownbozeman

BIG NEWS! I'm so excited to share this with you...⠀ 🌟⠀ Working with women on connecting with their confidence has been a passion project for me for a while. Which is why I am SO THRILLED to announce that as of this week, www.BozemanWomen.com is LIVE with our first event! Follow @bozemanwomen for daily inspiration, features and updates.⠀ 🌟⠀ 'You're Worth It,' is a full-day workshop that I'm hosting in collaboration with my friend Tessa @lightboxbusiness. It is a fantastic professional development opportunity for female employees and business owners. The event takes place on Friday, March 8th, the International Day of Women, at the beautiful @firelightfarmmt which is just finishing construction.⠀ 🌟⠀ We are currently seeking sponsors who want to get involved with the event, and promote their business at the same time. If you're interested in sponsorship, DM me and let me know!⠀ 🌟⠀ Would you help me spread the word by sending all the women you know to our site, so they can learn more? ⠀ 🌟⠀ Have a great weekend!

It’s the middle of January here in Montana, which means: “When I close my eyes, I’m not resting, I’m dreaming of beach weather.” No, really-Montana CAN BE really fun in the winter, if you dress warm and frolick in the snow, (sledding anyone?) ...it’s just that winter in Montana can be kind of... what’s the word? ... LONG. 😳 As we like to say, Montana has 3 seasons: 1. Winter. 2. STILL winter. 3. Road-construction. Since taking up residency in Jamaica for 4 more months is clearly out of the question: What are your favourite things to do in winter with your family to keep things fun and interesting?
