100% disagree with these statements. I’ve also seen this proven wrong.  So look at it like a math problem. Calories in vs calories out.  If you are under your calories by (about) 500 per day (500x7=3,500) you should lose about 1 pound. (If you don’t your calorie expenditure is lower than you think OR you are not accurately logging your calories)  So if the “cheat day” you have puts back all the calories you subtracted during your week you will off set it.  For example: (I’ve calculated on the LOW END HERE TOO)  Let’s see you go out for breakfast and have something good let’s say an omelette and hashbrowns with a side of fruit. That’s about 550 calories  Now let’s say you go out for a burger at lunch. On the low end let’s say 700 calories  Go out that night with friends  A slice of pizza might be 200 calories (let’s say you stopped at 2 somehow) 400 calories  Beer averages 100 calories (again let’s say you stop at 2) 200 calories  Let’s say you have some buffalo wings let’s say four that put you at 360 more calories.  So the running total for that one meal is 960.  Total for the day is now: 2,210. You pretty much hit maintenance. So no weight loss for that week.  Don’t fall for cheat days. Plan a TREAT (only give it to yourself if you’ve done what you should have all week) meal. Keep the calories limited but enjoy the meal.

Try this technique to get your clients up on their toes using good footwork, the whole round is mainly focussed on footwork and trying to get your client to see potential counters after creating some space using the footwork. . . You gotta allow your partner to find the space themselves, and you’ve gotta be lenient with them to allow them to see the potential space and counters, so don’t go steamrolling them and tying them up etc, move with them, use pivots etc to allow them to see potential space. . . It’s a great drill for both partners as you can both practice your own footwork. Keep the combos simple, 1-2 shots and the occasional hook 💪🏼🥊🥊 . .
