📍Hong Kong 🏨 The Ritz-Carlton ⛺️ Premier Executive Suite - Victoria Harbour View (115 sqm.) 💸 USD 4,333 per night ⭐️ 4/5 - Service was good, not outstanding. They have a lot of staff but the staff could be more attentive and better trained for a 5 star hotel. The views are unbeatable since you’re on the 100 something floor, a harbour view room is a must. Room service food could be improved as well. The club lounge is a great place to relax to take in the pano views of Hong Kong, they offer free food service almost all day beginning from breakfast to light dinner. Club members also have access to a complimentary car which can take you where you want to go within the Tsim Tsa Tsui (TST) perimeter and although it is a first-come first-service, slim chance you’ll be getting one during the time you want. If you booked a club room, you can check-in at the club lounge since there’s usually a line at the main reception lobby. The reason why I gave it a 4/5 was because 1. service and 2. location. Don’t get me wrong, I like the hotel, and yes, I would probably stay there again but when you have a 5-star status, you can’t just sit back and relax, which is what I felt from a lot of the staff there. Also the location isn’t great if you’re there on a vacation. It’s quite far from everything. Yes, you do have a mall underneath but unless you’re shopping for high-end brand name goods that you can buy anywhere else in the world, then I don’t really see why you need to go to that mall. The express trains underneath to the airport are great and all, but IMO it would be behoove you to stay in TST area since you’re only using the express trains to get to and from the airport. The Peninsula and Rosewood (opening Q2 2019) would be a great alternative.

Since then, I’ve worked in hotels, as a tour operator, a travel agent, tourism office assistant and an event planner. I believe that my background has prepared me for this new endeavor and I’m ready to share the Kingsley Inn and Southeast Iowa with guests! A little bit about myself: MY FAMILY: I live onsite at the Kingsley Inn with my 3 children, Mackenzie, Grady, Miles Jason and our Yorkie Poo, Chewie. Even though I want to travel the world, I feel at home here and wouldn’t change that for the world.” FAVORITE MUSICIAN: @johnmayer WHAT DO YOU DO IN YOUR DOWN TIME: “I spend time with my 3 kids and little dog traveling, swimming and hopefully some camping. I also enjoy traveling to @johnMayer concerts.” FAVORITE ROOM: “I like so many rooms, but my favorites are the parlor, the new billiards room and of course, the newly renovated Kingsley Guest House. I’ve worked really hard on designing an elegant yet functioning space that can be utilized in many ways.” WHAT DO YOU ENJOY MOST ABOUT THE HOSPITALITY INDUSTRY? “I like meeting new people and sharing my love of the area with them. If I can’t travel, then I want to share my hometown area with guests from all over!
