Hi friends, today #promotions were announced in the #office but even after working so hard my name wasn't in the list 😐. I'm now using #instagram to showcase my talents. Here you can see me #sitting (graciously). I've kind of achieved mastery in sitting, I can sit anywhere like #floor, #steps, #benches, normal #chairs, #ergonomic chairs. Thanks friends for appreciating my talent. Please put in a good word for me with my #manager. @msjennafischer @angelakinsey @johnkrasinski @picturesoftext @mindykaling Please hire me for Office 2.0 #theoffice
“The EGO says...Who you are is what you have. It begins with things like our toys and then our bank accounts, possessions, etc. Before you know it we start to identify ourselves based on our possessions. The dilemma here is that if you are what you have and those things go away then who you are goes away in the process.
Today we are grateful for...benches, marble slabs, concrete ledges and various other public sitting options—and the views that come with them. My favorite is the good ol’ fashioned wooden bench. There are lots of them in these parts, most notably directly in front of our apartment, where you can sit and watch the world go by on Eastern Parkway in a stunning parade of harmony and co-existence. Muslims and Hasidic Jews, old school Brooklyn blacks, Caribbean immigrants, gentrified hipsters—you can see ‘em all and then some sitting on that bench in front of our apartment. I took a much-needed walk today to Prospect Park, a place filled with wooden benches and other seating options. It’s still in the 40s out here, so long stretches of people watching and mediation aren’t in the cards yet. Felt good to keep moving on a brisk, beautiful evening though. Grateful for bearable Spring weather, too, although I left the house wishing I’d dressed warmer and thinking of my relatives on the West Coast already hitting the beaches and lakes. Hey, we’ve got our benches. #365daysofgratitude#day77#benches#brooklyn#prospectpark#parks#nature#urbanparks#walks#brooklynmuseum
60 benches - do you know the word bank is derived from italian word banco, benches. Where in the market-place people sit on a bench and do their transaction, exchanging money and bills. #funfact#benches#bangku
I choose the color palette for this medical building based on its architecture. Although the 5-column pentastyle portico and Roman arches (copied from the Greeks) were influences, I was ultimately inspired by the Spanish city of Córdoba and the color cordovan. We painted the portico’s benches burgundy as a nod to both France and the Napa Valley. Can’t wait for the topiary and impatience to grow! #oldworld in #napavalley
