We cleaned out the refrigerator and this is what we came up with! Yum-o! Diced all the veggies, threw 2 pork chops, 2 chicken breasts and about a pound of stew meat into the instant pot with about 4 cups of bone broth that I made earlier today! Topped with #seasonello Seasoning. I pressure cooked for about 45 min....could have done less time. Released pressure and then took chops and breasts out and chopped. Threw back into pot and added chopped kale and spinach and gave greens 6-8 minutes to wilt. Voila! Soup...stew...whatever you’d like to call it. Cleaned out fridge...nothing went to waste and we have dinner and at least one other meal! #soupseason#fridgecleanout#instantpot

I tell you what, this "no weight bearing" on my fractured ankle is for the birds lol. Yes, I know I must listen to doctors orders if I want it to heal properly and best believe ya girl not only wants this to heal properly, but I need it to heal properly so I can get in the damn gym! . . I know I have said a million times that I was restarting keto this date, or no on this date...BUT with fracturing my ankle alot has been brought to my attention that i have completely ignored (i.e., not being able to hold my own bodyweight, having to stand on my one leg for short periods of time is murder) Ive realized that I HAVE TO COMMIT TO THIS WHOLEHEARTEDLY FOR ME AND MY HEALTH!! . . This week my husband has taken over and this morning I woke up to a crockpot full of Beef Stew. He even added organic Beef Bone broth to the stock, garlic, onions and lots of veggies. Stews are great because you can add whatever you like or have on hand.
Sick days are no fun at all, i went over my carbs yesterday because I had no energy to cook or even get up so we ordered pho and I ate some of the noodles. Now today it’s just beef bone broth and the cello whisps if I get to them. Bone broth fast day 1: When I started my 30 day fat loss challenge 21 days ago, I was at 154.8, I’m now at 145.0, so I lost almost 10 pounds. To get to my pre-pregnancy weight I need to lose about 30 more pounds, so I’m ready to up my game. I’m starting a 15 day bone broth fast to lose more weight, heal my gut, skin, etc.. and I cannot be more excited 😆!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can’t wait to see my results at the end of the fast 💪🏼

Bone Broth on the Gram . @hiddencreekmaplefarm - This is the first time that I've ever made venison bone broth and it turned out excellent! I used marrow and joint bones and homegrown veggies. I simmered it over the woodstove for just under 24 hours and I ended up with this gelatinized goodness. It has a flavor similar to beef bone broth and it will be used in my venison stew recipe. Meal prep Sunday - A little bit of meal prep before starting the week. What else would I want to do on my birthday weekend but spend a few hours in the kitchen preparing delicious nutrition food, and not mentioning the couple of hours spent the day before thinking about what to cook and ordering! 🥦🥕🍅🥑🥔🌶 These are wild salmon in a teriyaki marinade to go in a stir fry with rice noodles and a whole bunch of veggies, vegetable dhansak, swede and sweet potato mash to go with the spiced mince and gravy @jasminehemsley . I’ve used organic ingredients when available and home made or quality store beef and chicken broths @boroughbrothcompany . More green vegs such as broccoli and Brussels sprouts will be steamed on the day. These meals are packed with spices, garlic and ginger, all great to support the immune system.
