We dub this cocktail the Jazz Club, but you’ll have to make it at home to understand why. 😉 Mix 1oz Cinnamon #spicenote, .5oz Gran Classico, .5oz Averna, .5oz Islay Scotch, .25oz honey syrup, 1 barspoon herbsaint, 2 dashes peychaud bitters. Stir all ingredients in a mixing glass for 30 seconds and serve up in a chilled nick and nora glass. #spicenotetequila ___ Recipe: @pwalkar
Several of my friends have requested I make a boba cocktail and you know I can’t pass up a challenge! For those who don’t know, boba or bubble tea is a milk tea drink with tapioca pearls originating from Taiwan. It’s been hugely popular in California and people are obsessed! (including myself 😅) - Here’s my take on an alcoholic boba drink, using Boubon Vanilla Black Tea from @paromitea and Fruity Pebble cereal infused milk. - Boozin’ Boba - 1.5 oz Bourbon .75 oz Brown Sugar Syrup 2 oz Cereal infused Whole Milk 5 oz Bourbon Vanilla Black Tea @paromitea - Add all ingredients into a shaker with ice and shake until chilled. Add half a cup of cooked tapioca pearls to a high ball glass and add ice. Strain drink into glass and top with fruity pebbles. . . . #bobatea#bobacocktail#pearlmilktea#bubbletea#bulleitbourbon#fruitypebbles#tapiocapearls#alcoholicboba

#tiptuesday ✏️ Every week we will be sharing different tips for hospitality staff! This week is on Different Wine Pouring Styles.🍷⠀ ⠀ Some wines need to be poured slightly differently. Additionally, you may be asking yourself: what is a serving of wine? Here are a few basic guidelines for servers to keep in mind:⠀ ⠀ • Sparkling: Pour in a trickle to avoid over-stimulating the bubbles. Pour a small amount in the flute, let the bubbles settle, and then finish pouring the glass until it's three-quarters full.⠀ ⠀ • Red: Slowly pour the standard wine pour (4 oz.) into the center of the glass until it's around half full.⠀ ⠀ • White: Slowly pour the standard wine pour (3 oz.) into the center of the glass until it's around one-third full.⠀ ⠀ Regardless of the type of wine, servers should always hold the bottle with both hands and leave the glass on the table as they pour. Additionally, they need to make sure there's 6" to 10" between the bottom of the wine glass to the lip of the bottle as they pour, as this allows the wine to aerate as it falls into the glass.⠀ .⠀ .⠀ .⠀ .⠀ #hyretips#hospitalitystaff#eventplanning#wine#bartending#waitstaff#toronto#torontoevents#ottawaevents#waiterlife#ottawa
