Cellaring like a dream!! 2017’s Stronger Than Fiction, from @bottlelogicbrewing , is absolutely delicious! The @coldbotcoffee has mellowed a lot, but still compliments the smooth/mellow Bourbon quite well. Rum character is faint. But, that malty Strong Ale base, gives way to delicious caramel flavor that exemplifies the sweet coconut. Somoas, caramel delights...Wherever you’re from, this is the liquid version of that cookie! My last one, so this withdrawal is gonna hurt... . . On a side note...Who’s excited for/going to #weekoflogic2019 ?!! The beer list is INSANE! Cheers!🍻🍺🍻
KENTUCKY TRADITION. JAPANESE DETAIL. Legent transcends the broader whiskey category. It's a perfectly balanced and rounded bourbon that's also complex and layered. On your palate, it starts like a bourbon – rich, warm and oaky. Then, like a Japanese whisky, it features complex layers and a bright, smooth, unexpectedly long finish. Collaboration between two whiskey legends – Fred Noe & Shinji Fukuyo #legentwhiskey#remedyliquor#legent

@alesongbrewing from Oregon is launching at Carwyn from 5pm tomorrow !!! In terms of the types of breweries that we really love, Alesong is 100% our jam. They are focused solely on barrel ageing -- from lambic inspired sours to bold stouts aged in fresh bourbon barrels. These guys are masters of blending and love a good old-fashioned re-ferment using all kinds of delicious fruit. Alesong haven’t been around long, but their beers rate of the charts! We can’t wait to get them pouring from our taps tomorrow. Here’s what we have lined up: Rhino Suit (Bourbon BA Imp Milk Stout) 12.5% Mocha Rhino Suit (Bourbon BA Imp Milk stout with coffee & cacao) 13.3% Kriek (BA sour with Oregon cherries) 7.8% Pomme (French cider-inspired hybrid sour) 7.6% Raspberry Parliament (Flanders Red) 8.2% Four Merchants (BA Quad) 11% We will also have bottles of Rhino Suit, Pomme and Kriek available for sale on the day. And finally, in a celebration of American sours, we will also have 7 amazing different sours in bottle from @sour_cellars available for the first time!! We are equally excited to try these beers from the all-sour brewery and barrel room from California! #sourbeer#barrelaged#brewerylaunch#newbeer#ilovesours#sourbeerlover#sourbeers#americanwildale
This is Eli. Eli likes barrels. Eli manages our barrel program. Want to know more about our barrel program? Well, then keep on reading my friend. • The Twin Sails barrel program was started to give the brewery a creative output for experimental mixed culture beers. While Twin Sails had put out a few mixed culture beers in their first 2 years of operation the program was expanded significantly in the spring of 2018. • We look both to the past and present for inspiration and our beers often combine old and new world techniques and ingredients. All of our beers undergo a primary fermentation and aging in oak before they are blended, or fruited, in stainless steel tanks. Fermentation can take anywhere between 3 to 12 months. We currently have a collection of 42 second use barrels including red wine, white wine, tequila and bourbon. • We are always interested in doing collaborations with not only other breweries, but other alcohol producers as well. We are currently working with Le Veux Pin Winery and Dominion Cider to create beverages that blur the line between beer, wine, and cider. • 2019 is quickly becoming our busiest year yet. We are extremely excited to share the projects we’ve been working on over the last 18 months. Keep your eyes peeled for a quite a few new releases and a couple old favourites in the coming months! • #barrelaged#barrelagedbeers#craftbeer
Sad day...Been saving this last @adroittheory for several years, and even though it came straight from the fridge, it totally exploded on me...Managed to save a few ounces, but the greedy sink got the majority. Pretty good summary of my hump day.
. . . 😍KBS! KBS! KBS!😍 2019 Release.😍 . . Founders Brewing Co., Grand Rapids, Michigan. . . An Imperial Stout brewed with coffee and chocolate and then cave-aged in oak bourbon barrels for a year. . . This years batch was bottled on February 6, 2019. 12.2% proof. . . Not inexpensive either. Expect to pay at least $6.00+ a bottle. But, well worth it. Very tasty. ❤️👍 . . Follow my bourbon adventures @bourbonparadise. FACT: Walt Disney said: "We keep moving forward, opening new doors, and doing new things, because we're curious and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths." Like the path that lead Kevin to the women's restroom because it's every guy's fantasy. Except Jim. Idiot.... 🚽 🚽 @allagashbrewing CURIEUX Belgian blend of bourbon barrel aged Tripel with fresh Tripel 🍻
Ok let’s hear it. What are your thoughts on @foundersbrewing KBS this year? I’ve had two experiences. On draft I thought it was too much chocolate and not enough barrel. Then I bought a four pack and thought it was pretty damn good. Let me know what you thought!
I finally got around to filling my fleet of fruiting barrels last weekend. Three different blends from a bunch of barrels were laid down to rest on a large amount of blueberries, blackcurrants, and cranberries+redcurrants. I'm excited to see where this path leads, and super stoked to have finally put these beauties to use! The beer will hang out with the fruit for 4-8 weeks before being bottled. You can expect these to be released sometime near early June, depending how well bottle conditioning goes. Keep an 👁️ out!
The Tides from @temporalbeer. This is without a doubt my favourite Temporal beer yet. Citrusy, vinous and slightly fruity on the front mixed with the oak, must and that funk we all love on the back end. Even a light breadiness to the after taste. Might have to reach out and see if they have an extra bottle I could purchase. #barrelagedbc#barrelaged#barrelagedbeer#bccraftbeer
