Finding balance in my life was the very thing that saved my life. -- When tragedy struck and my life literally felt like it was spinning out of control, I knew that something was missing and needed to be fixed asap. -- Life was moving faster than I could keep up. My brain was in a massive fog. I couldn't focus. I was extremely overwhelmed. Panic and anxiety overtook me. I was a complete mess. -- The balance in my life slowly started to come back as I started incorporating exercise back into my everyday life. For those 30 minutes, I could zone out and regroup. -- Bringing the balance back to my mind, has helped me to balance everything else in my life. Did my current situation change? NO, but everything seems a little more manageable. -- If you need help finding balance, I have the tools to help you get started. There is nothing wrong with starting small and going big to achieve your goals.
As mothers, we tend to show up for everybody else without giving a single thought about it. We show up for our partners. We show up for our children. We show up for our friends. We show up for our siblings, our parents, our pets....Without even a single question about it. But when it comes to showing up for ourselves, we second-guess and question whether or not it’s worth it, whether or not we can make it happen. I’m here to tell you it is and you CAN. We have to show up for ourselves so that we can show up 110% for everybody else! How are you going to show up for yourself today?
Balance leads to mediocrity since you can never become great at anything. If you want to achieve greatness in life, you will need to devote your time into that specific thing thus sacrificing other areas. If it’s what you love to do, it won’t feel like a sacrifice however. Nobody who did amazing things in life strived for balance.
Woman. You are strong. You are brave. You are confident. Your are capable. You are all the things you need to be to kick ass today! I’ve been diving deep into personal development lately. I have big goals and dreams and I am realizing that the only person that can make them happen is ME! We have everything residing inside us that we need to make our dreams reality! It’s just believing that we CAN! Believing we are capable and we ARE all the things we need to be to make it ALL happen! If we don’t believe in ourselves no one else will!

Life is feeling very up in the air this week. I'm trying to work on some future yoga teaching opportunities and my current classes, however I have a very sick little girl home with me. Whether you're a mom or not, sometimes finding balance in life and work is the hardest thing. Life feels overwhelming and scattered. I know the moment I hop in my car tonight to teach a Yin class is going to bring alot of grounding and connection for me so I can guide my practice tonight with presence and calm. . . Until I get there I'm just kind of making my way through today the best I can. Cuddling my girls on the couch (because immediate tears flow when I walk away to do anything) and reading a yin book I've been working through, going over my sequence for tonight and trying to do what little I can on my list this week. . . Is this all ideal? No. Is this real life? Yes. I want to have my week planned and set. I want to be accomplishing my goals and working actively toward my dreams. I also want to slow down and take in these moments with my girls because the reality is work opportunities will keep coming. BEING PRESENT & BEING ENOUGH 》 A gentle reminder from me to myself, and you, to always be fully present, because I kind forgot it a lot lately. . That picture has been taken on my last day in Philippines two months ago, when I freed myself from social media for a while and went (almost) fully present in the world. But still, I was very often thinking about the next steps and how to organise my shit together, etc. I would love being back to that day to tell myself to not think with my head, but to only feel with my heart what the day will bring! The rest will follow... . How challenging it is to appreciate every single moment without looking to the past/future too much? Since the beginning of The Mojo Soul adventure, I feel I am loosing a little bit both my foot from the ground and always trying to reach the next steps before even landing. But that's ok, right? It is called growth mindset and productivity aka willing always more, more, more. Or maybe, better to take our time? . I find it a little bit tricky sometimes so, as a good tips to share with you, I've been reading #thepowerofnow from Eckhart Tolle : a gold gem to read and read again if you ever struggled with living in the now. . Last days have been thought regarding other things aka projects besides jewelry. Feel that I've been putting on a bit more on my shoulders than I've should have but will go though and afterwards will reward myself. What can I say - balance in life is the key.
