Should @domcalvertlewin start against Southampton?🤔🔵 • Personally I’m very divided on this because he was great against Bournemouth and deserves a start but, like almost every single one of his good performances this season, it was off the bench and we could use that impact sub.
On June 1st 2004, Bill Kenwright took control of Everton Football Club. Since then and for 9 years prior to that not a trophy has been won, and only one final has been reached in those 14 years. Our highest finish has been 4th which was only one season and despite being robbed by the referees we didn’t make the group stages of the champions league that year. I believe it’s time at the end of the season for Bill Kenwright to step aside and leave his role at Everton and be replaced by someone with more ambition for the club. Don’t get me wrong Bill is a great owner/chairman if he truly loves the club, he’ll step aside and give somebody else a shot in the hot seat. Feel free to leave your opinions in the comments #etid#utft 🔵
Facing Southampton on Saturday will be a tough task. The team are in great form under new manager Ralph Hassenhüttl and to add to the challenge the game is at St. Mary’s, and our away form this season isn’t great, worse than Southampton’s actually. However, the Saints have the third worst home record in the league this season. But, like I said, Hassenhüttl’s men have put on some good performances since he was appointed. I predict a loss or draw, what do you think?🔵
Everton are reportedly interested in AS Roma striker Edin Dzeko, The 33-year-old has 18 months left in his contract with Roma, Everton are looking for a cut price deal and are seeking striking reinforcements this month. (Messaggero) Thoughts Blues? 🔵
Top goal scorers among U-23 players in the #pl this season: 1. Richarlison (9) 🇧🇷 2. Anthony Martial (8) 🇫🇷 3. Marcus Rashford (7) 🏴 4. Leroy Sane (7) 🇩🇪 5. David Brooks (5) 🏴 Leading the pack.
My MOTM was @alookman_ , he’s such a talent and deserves Theo’s place on the wing. He is so consistent and sharp on the ball and knows the right time to pass, dribble or shoot. Who was your MOTM blues? 🔵
Out of all players to have attempted 20+ take-ons in this season's Premier League, no player has a higher success-rate than Ademola Lookman (73.9%). And to think it took until January to start him 2 games in a row 🤷♂️🔵
Here’s how I’d like to see us line up today, thoughts?🔵I think it’s vital for both Bernard and Richarlison to start, and definitely prefer Lookman over Walcott at the moment. Mina and Zouma at the back, think they’ve looked best as of late out of our 3 main centrebacks. Kenny to the right to get some desire and fight onto the pitch and a tough decision to start Digne over Baines as Baines was brilliant against Lincoln. All together though this is what I’d go for. Overall this is a must-win game, UTT🔵
Everton have been allocated 2,200 seats for our away trip to Millwall in the FA Cup, Everton tried to reach the full 15% of seats but are following advice from the Met Police and Safety Advisory Group 🗣️🔵
Everton have put a £20m price tag on Cenk Tosun and will let the striker go if an offer meets that valuation (Echo). Personally I would be very sad to see this happen as Tosun is a great man who helped us out a lot when he arrived a year ago, and I feel like he still has some unfinished business here in the Premier League and some goals to score. However, it might be time for him to move on. What do you think?🤔🔵
Everton are reportedly monitoring Napoli trio Arkadiusz Milik (ST), Allan (CM) and Kalidou Koulibaly (CB). Milik is a 24 year old ST who has currently scored 10 goals out of 16 appearances this season for Napoli. He was linked to a transfer to us 3 year ago. His value now is thought to be around £22 million. Out of all of these three players I think he would be the most likely of joining us, and I think it would be a good deal for us. Allan has also been linked with a move to us. The 28 year old Brazilian midfielder has been an instrumental part to Napoli side over the past few years and they are not going to give him up for cheap. Napoli value him at £90 million, which I certainly wouldn’t pay. He’s a good player but I definitely don’t think he’s worth that much. He would be a good signing for anything under £50 million though. Koulibaly has been linked to many clubs this year including Real Madrid, Chelsea and Manchester United even though he only recently signed a new 5 year contract with Napoli. Fahard Moshri admitted in 2016 that he could of signed Koulibaly for £60 million, His value now is though to be around £70 million. I think this would be a great move for us but don’t see it happening. (Rumours from Echo) What are your thoughts on these potential transfers blues? Would you take any of them? Everton are interested in signing Michy Batshuayi from Chelsea after he returned from his loan spell at Valencia, it would have to be a permanent deal as we have Kurt Zouma on loan from Chelsea 🔵 • Would you be happy if we signed him?
According to Daily Mail football reporter Dominic King, Everton are interested in bringing Michy Batshuayi to the club this January. The Chelsea player’s loan at Valencia has been cut short and he will return to Stamford Bridge this month. Any deal would have to be permanent, though, as Everton already have Kurt Zouma on loan from Chelsea. Please make this happen Marcel I’ve been saying for a long time we should get him
Everton winger Nikola Vlasic has criticised the "awful" football played under former manager Sam Allardyce. "Everything changed after Koeman left. The football played by 'Big Sam' was awful, if it could even be called football." 😂🔵
