5 steps I tell myself on a daily basis. I’ve spent years suffering with this stupid anxiety crap, it can take me hours to leave the house and when I do the attacks can go from a 3 to a 10 in a matter of minutes and it’s never a nice feeling when your body shuts down. No matter where you are! My poor family & my poor children have had to watch me suffer for years, and still am. The one thing I’ve noticed lately, is most people think it’s just a matter of getting up just leaving the house... that easily? ITS NOT! I’m over hearing ‘once you do it you’ll get over it’ or ‘just leave, you have to eventually.’ ‘You can’t be this way when you’re a mum’. 🖕🏻🖕🏻🖕🏻 I wish it was that easy, but one thing I know is true I would never let it affect my parenting! Be supportive, not a dick.... kindness is free! But of course by taking baby steps I’m finally stepping up and helping myself. Firstly I’m gonna stick to my weekly hypnosis which surprisingly has been helping. If anyone is interested it’s called - Sleep & Anxiety by Michael Sealey on YouTube. 😊 I tend to do it every second or third night. Next step is getting to the doctors... I’m trying.... and I WILL get there!
