I can’t believe in less than 2 months we’ll be in London!!! This past March Andy & I travelled to Paris on a VERY belated Honeymoon trip. ❤️ We loved every second of it & we decided that each year for our anniversary instead of getting gifts for each other, we would plan a trip to a new place! We want to travel as much as we can while we can, and thanks to amazing deals through @flynorwegian & @airbnb it’s actually kind of possible. ☺️ 🙌🏻Where else do we need to go?!
You kind of have to stop and admire this breathtaking vista, whether entering or leaving the campground paradise that resides at the base of Havasu Canyon...at least that’s what I do! 🤷♂️ So then, here’s my rendition of (arguably) the most photographed spot in the Havasupai community, taken on Thanksgiving morning as we departed this oasis. 🏝 - @sonyalpha 7iii @ 16mm, 1/100”, f/4, ISO80
I was born in Silverton but my parents moved here when I was one. This town has changed a lot since I was little. I feel like it was a lot more depressing 20 years ago than it is now. I'm an outdoors type. I've always loved hiking. I grew up doing that with my family but these days I'm getting into some more intense backpacking. My mom is a teacher at Lewis and Clark Elementary. My dad was a youth facilities director but he passed away from cardiac arrest while playing basketball when he was 34. I was six. (Tristan Fischer 1/4)
I'm drawn to changing light and landscapes, even when I can barely feel my fingers. While it can be tempting to stay indoors during the cold & dark days of winter, layering up and getting outside is always worth the extra effort. Which side are you on? Do you love winter, or are you already counting down the days until the spring melt?
