This was last night. I haven’t posted it yet because I was kind of at a loss for words. I know right?! Shocking. Such a promise fulfilled. The thing is - it wasn’t even my promise. I’m not even sure if it was my parent’s promise, or my parent’s parent, or a teacher’s, or a friend’s, or a stranger’s promise. I know I wasn’t talking to God about stuff like this when she was born. I wasn’t even talking to God about stuff like this 5 years ago. People ask me how I can believe God has a plan and works everything for good. Here’s how - I didn’t plan it, I didn’t dream it, I didn’t want it. Wasn’t even on my radar. In fact - hanging out at church was probably on my “try not to plan” list. Never seemed much fun to me. Yet - - here we are aren’t we? I’m both laughing and crying at my 13 year old belting out Jesus songs on fancy stage at a church with loud music and crazy lights. Listen up people. Pray for your kids, and their kids, and their kid’s kids kids, and your kid’s friends, and stranger’s kids. We are the ones that get to cover the next generation in prayer and we are the ones that get to lift up the parents that DO👏NOT👏HAVE👏A👏CLUE what God’s got in store for the generations to come. Lexi-loo - you slayed. You are bold and brave and gifted. I’m so very proud of you. I’d also love it if you dressed like that on the reg. #proudmama#worship#powerofprayer#generations#80snight#jrny
