This can be so hard to remember! I see the people I look up to killing it and I want to be in their level in about a month! It can be so hard to remember they had no idea what they were doing at one point too! Plus, with social media you really only get people's highlight reel!
I decided tonight to kick off Week 2 with a mental workout rather than a physical one. A 20 minute guided meditation to clear my head and regain some peace. Meditation is hard y’all! I actually find it to be more challenging than anything I can do physically...but tonight’s mantra was “Let Go” and it was a perfect reminder. The other take away from this evenings meditation...your mind will trail off to the past or the future, but through meditation we can retrain our brain to be in the present 🙏❤️ #27weekspregnant#boymom#physicallyfitmentallystrong#peacelovehappiness
It’s hard to believe that this is my last week of my second trimester. Friday will begin a new chapter of this pregnancy and I can’t help but remember the joy I have felt through all of it. From the day I found out I was pregnant until now, I have been the happiest I’ve ever been. I never knew that I could love something so much that I’ve never met before. How every part of our family is becoming complete because of this little man. With every kick, punch, and hiccup, I fall more in love each day. God is SO good and he knows our needs before we even ask him. I’m thankful he knew exactly what I needed 💕

27 weeks today!🤰 Zeke is about 14.5 inches and 2 lbs, but I’m guessing he’s bigger! I’m already 30# up, even though the suggested weight gain is 25-35 pounds. I’m eating healthy and exercising, so my body is going to do what it’s going to do AND I’m totally okay with that! 🔳 I haven’t done much since the return from our trip due to feeling exhaustion and nausea for a few days. But I was determined to start this Monday and this new gestation week off right! 👏🏼 🔳 The sunshine ☀️ was out here, the temp was 44, which feels much warmer than 44 😂. I took a 30 minute stroll through my neighborhood and did a 20 minute EMOM KB workout. 💧20 (every minute on minute) 💧 1. Goblet squats (20#) 2. Kneeling push ups (these kick my 🍑) 3. KB swings (30#) 4. Dual KB bent over row (20#) 5. Dual KB deadlift (30#) 👉🏼start at the top of the minute and complete x amount of reps. Remainder of minute is rest. I decided to sleep this morning instead of getting up to go to the gym 😴 because life happens and this pup woke up at 3am throwing up. [ PREPARING FOR BABY F ] . I'm now 27 weeks & 2 days into my pregnancy with baby F and thinking that I really need to get my butt into gear as far as preparing for his arrival. I've been really slack this time around, partially because I do already have a lot of baby stuff (although after Patrick, I gave away my maternity clothes, the bassinet, co-sleeper, stretchy wrap carriers, a rocker, play mats and most of his smaller sized baby clothes because I wasn't planning on having any more babies) and partially because I am so busy with the other 3 most of the time, I've hardly had time to think! . Honestly, all I have bought for baby F so far is his car seat, cot & bassinet sheets and a few baby clothes (to be fair, I've actually been waiting for the Winter stock to come out before clothes shopping for him, with him being due in mid June). I've acquired a second hand bouncer, some clothes, a couple of play mats and tummy time toys, and I'm still after a bassinet and a co-sleeper. . I do have the cot already set up from Patrick (although Paddy has co-slept with me for some months now) and a couple of baby carriers. I'm actually finding it harder this time because I DON'T need everything, and trying to sort through what I still need instead of just buying all of the baby things again! . Maternity clothes wise, I've been lucky to have been given some for free on the Facebook marketplace (including this dress, which was brand new!) as well as using some of my stretchier pants and longer shirts, so I have faired well there! . Mentally, I'm happy and excited most of the time, but absolutely terrified at the same time, and I've had a few nights of crying myself to sleep stressing about how on Earth that I'll manage with 4 children (3 of them under the age of 4!). I know I will get there though, and it WILL be alright, my babies and I all have a lot of support and love around us, and I'm eternally grateful for that! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . #preparingforbaby

Me and my running buddy 😭🤰👟 Sun was so good today I just couldn’t resist! Some rules I give myself for running while pregnant: a) Don’t run the entire thing. Baby needs a break too! Walking is also cardiovascular. b) Don’t go all out. Recovery afterwards takes longer. c) Give yourself grace. You’re running while pregnant. At least you’re getting a workout in! The sun felt good and stretching was a blessing. What’s your favourite routine to do while pregnant? I love running, but also can’t resist a good yoga session or some weights! Yesterday i was 27 weeks and 4 days pregnant- the same point I was when James was born. This date has been a milestone for me from the start of this pregnancy; we spent the day at the hospital being monitored, but I got through it! I’ve been getting a lot of people say to me “I wish I could be active like you but I just don’t have the: time, energy, money, or motivation This actually makes me chuckle because here’s the thing: working out & eating healthy doesn’t have to be complicated, time consuming, expensive, or confusing. It’s about deciding, committing & staying consistent. Taking 30 minutes (or less a day) to move your body, and making small changes in your nutrition that make all the difference. Maybe that means waking up 30 minutes earlier to get a workout in, or skipping the netflix in the evening to meal prep. Stop overthinking 😋. I know when I did, that’s when I saw results.
