It’s amazing to see how little emphasis gets placed on the posterior chain in most athletes and in the majority of high school and college strength programs-Everyone is looking for big numbers in other areas(which has its place) they neglect the area that breaks down first. . 90 percent of the time what do athletes pull when the sprint- Hamstring- not the quads- why- THEY ARE UNDERDEVELOPED!!!! . We have stated building in a multitude of various posterior chain exercises at all levels. The combine prep process is truly one of my favorite preps in all athletics. It is truly position and athlete specific. There is NO set program you can follow. Having a great feel for the athlete is ๐Ÿ”‘ . Unlike most strength coaches I FIRMLY believe is ok to change on the fly. It means you are in tune with the athlete or group and realize the timing of what you have planned isn’t appropriate. Let’s face it these NFL guys have 1 day and 1 shot to put down great times and numbers. Looking forward to the next 9 weeks to see how it shakes out! .
