Many people jump to cardio when they decide that they want to lose weight. . Yes, cardio is a nonstop movement that burns more calories if done at moderate intensities. . However, the more muscle mass you have, the higher your metabolism and the higher your RMR (resting metabolic rate) will be. In order to build muscle, you must perform weight training. . Weight training also ensures that you will hang onto as much muscle mass as possible when losing weight! This means that the weight lost will be mostly fat and not hard-earned muscle! 💪🏾 .
