Summer School for me 😁. Practicising Svadhyaya, lots of self-study going on. I’ll be sharing the links to what I found to be juiciest. Podcasts are great!!! #podcasts#svadhyaya#summerlearning#yogateaching#yogateacher#reading#learning#oprah and her talk on the ego, so freeing once you get it. Thank you @oprah for sharing this story. https://podcasts.apple.com/ca/podcast/oprahs-supersoul-conversations/id1264843400?i=1000445009401. I hope this link works 😘
SAVE THIS POST! I did a story a while ago where I talked about a really simple and quick social audit I did. Basically, I was doing a ton of engaging and getting new followers but engagement has stopped...wtf. Here's where I needed to get detail-oriented. What was working the best? What was resonating the best? Once I knew that I could focus, refine, and do it some more. Here's what I did: 👉 I went to my Insta analytics and pulled up my most successful posts from the past two years (I looked at engagement and didn't count anything that had been promoted). 👉 Then I made a list in three categories: visuals, content, and other 👉I made lists for the three categories and just started counting up how many of the most popular posts included things in each list. 👉So for visuals, I counted up how many of the most successful posts were pictures of me, the team, of food, graphics, etc. For content, I looked at what I was talking about, if I used emojis, how long the content was, and if I asked questions. 👉I just made marks beside each of the items in the list kind of like you picture someone in jail marking the years on the wall (I don't know how else to explain it!). 👉By the time I was done I had learned some really interesting things about what my audience was interested in. What do you think? If you're still not sure where to start- sign up for our newsletter! I'll be creating a template for it and sending it out when we re-launch! #socialmedia#socialmediamarketing#marketing#digitalmarketing#digitalmedia#instagrammarketing#contentmarketing#content#marketingagency#vancouvermarketingagency
Today, there was an activity in Granville Island and after that, we went to the Ramen restaurant which are only in Hokkaido and Vancouver for having dinner. There were some great views, awesome food, everything was enjoyable. I made some new Japanese friends during the activity and shared our expressions in Vancouver. How small this world is!!
🥰I’m preparing an interesting online painting course for you guys. I want you to start getting ready so I want to tell you what you will need for this course, or, what do you need to begin oil painting🎨⠀ ⠀⠀ ➡️Art Supplies.⠀ Few canvases, 16x21". You can take different sizes, but this size is the most common thus easy to find and affordable.⠀ ⠀⠀ ➡️Oil paints:⠀ -zinc white and titanium white (if you just buy one of those, it's fine)⠀ -Cadmium yellow light⠀ -Cadmium yellow medium or deep (or both)⠀ - Cadmium lemon (hue) (optional)⠀ -Ochre light⠀ -Gold ochre⠀ - Cadmium red light⠀ -Cadmium red deep⠀ -Coral pink (optional)⠀ -Ultramarine light⠀ -Cobalt blue light⠀ -Cobalt blue deep (optional)⠀ -Cobalt Blue Spectral (is a great color if you can find it, but optional as well)⠀ - Ceruleum blue⠀ - Turquoise Blue (optional)⠀ -Ultramarine violet (purple) or any kind of purple (optional)⠀ -Cobalt violet light⠀ -Cobalt violet deep⠀ - Cobalt Green light (optional)⠀ -Cobalt Green deep⠀ - Sap green⠀ - Glaukonite (specific light green paint that we will use to outline and to sketch on canvas)⠀ -Emerald green⠀ -Burnt Sienna⠀ -Mars Brown light⠀ - Burnt Umber⠀ -Sienna natural (raw)⠀ - Black Peach (or any black that you can find, like Mars black or other. Black peach is good because it is made with real natural pigment, it gives great transparency, it is not dull)⠀ ⠀⠀ ⭐️You can buy more expensive, better quality paints, they are made with natural pigments and will last for longer. Or, more affordable, with synthetic pigments, which are also good and will work, especially if you're just learning and trying oil painting out for yourself.⠀ ⠀⠀ 💧Liquid: mix of linseed oil, turpentine and varnish, you can buy it premixed at the art store, it's called diluent "Tee" for artistic oil painting⠀ 📍Terpantine to clean the palette and brushes⠀ 📍Linseed oil to oil the canvas before each
