A custom sign from one friend to another. A friendship that spans decades and states. We pray it reminds them of the ultimate relationship...one with Jesus. He is the one who traveled the farthest to come near to us & demonstrate a love like no other- that meets us exactly where we are but cares way too much to leave us there. And time spent with Him & in His Word always reveals, changes, softens, encourages and reminds us who and whose we are. We love differently after time with Him. Let’s commit to spending time with the only friend we have that won’t disappoint us. Our friendships with people grow bc we spend time with them, talk to them and listen to them. We GET to do that with God too! My cozy spot to spend time with God is in my kitchen. I snuggle into the couch, grab my coffee, journal, & bible or @first5app and begin my day with my 75 lb lab who thinks she is a Chihuahua in my lap. I once heard it described like this.. “let’s have whispers with God before shouts with the world.” Amen?!
Haven’t post a pic in some time. Not that I have not been busy, just not busy working on work. Well working on other work, but not this work. Anyway, it is all work, but at least you can have some fun with the cops and Santa some times. This was at the annual Montgomery county Nuns Christmas party. The Knights of the Tomko Assembly #934 puts this on to thank all the Nuns in the county for all of their service through the years. Most are retired, but all are welcome. I will not elaborate on why the cops were there, but hey even Nuns like to have a good time. All jokes aside it was nice to capture some moments of the Brother Knights celebrating this Advent season with such deserving women. One Sister was celebrating 102 years of life in December. She devoted many of those years to doing God’s work. May they all be blessed! #knightsofcolumbus besides my passion for photography, I love devoting my time and talent to my church and the Knights. #catholicmen#uppergwyneddpolice Thanks to all the folks in blue (behind a badge) for their service as well. #savingsouls#savinglives I can’t forget the EMS guys as well. They were there but I did not grab a shot of them. Merry Christmas Y’all #transplantedtexan
